  1. Shhhhhh, let him be. He’s trying REALLY hard.
  2. They can but you’re better parking in the industrial estate. Takes forever to get away from the car park.
  3. Not quite drinking it now, but just been delivered - The Hearach, the new whisky from Harris.
  4. Fair. I was conflating your comment with the “one of the best goals at TFS” in the highlights commentary.
  5. 7 goals I think for Morrison? Depends how you give a few of them!
  6. It’s not nearly the best goal under pressure . Several against Hibs, Rangers and Hearts would be in that category, or even Vaulks late winner against Killie. Our best since relegation I’ll give you, and was an absolute screamer - and further out than I thought.
  7. Watching the highlights, both penalties are correct. I think you could give ours for either handball or the lunge, but no doubt it was handball. Long’s challenge was on the line, so penalty. He was lucky not to be sent off I think. Other points: - Morrison was further out than I thought at his goal, what a fucking strike - Steeves absolutely should have walked for a second yellow. Although I notice his reaction time was piss poor for our first goal. - I didn’t think Nesbitt’s challenge was a red, but was a bit rash. - The Montrose time wasting was ridiculous. I accept its part of the game, but sooner they start introducing 10 minutes of time added on in the way they do in England now, the better. - If the Donaldson chance at the death falls to anyone other than Donaldson, it’s a goal. - I really don’t get this “it was an even match” thing. This first half was, but the second was mostly us. We had more than double the number of shots on target and triple the shots off target. Entertaining though, good to see a team not stick everyone behind the ball
  8. The first half of that statement is true. The second half CAN be - but pretty much every game this season has seen us minimise opponents attackers only to present them with absolute gilt-edged opportunities in some sort of hilarious/calamitous manner. Both teams to score, Falkirk to win by 1 or 2 but never to be comfortable.
  9. Two teams on a bit of form at the moment. This could be a close one - the bookies disagree and have us as heavy favourites, which I’m surprised at. The Mo must have one of the oldest average ages of a squad in the league. Some great players in there though (I hate playing against Gardyne). But you have Williamson, so whoever plays on the left wing for us is going to have fun…
  10. Dods scored from the corner I think. I had put a reasonably chunky bet on Falkirk to win (never ever again) and that last few minutes was an absolute rollercoaster. I was pacing the stand like an expectant father.
  11. Agyeman was a big loss. I didn’t think Ross did much, and Nesbitt came onto a game but was rotten in the first half. Nobody was getting up with MacIver. Henderson also had a stinker. Thought Yeats had a great game.
  12. I still think that was all a conspiracy just to give him some new material
  13. Just read them, it is in there. Interesting. But I still don’t follow your logic, particularly if the club can veto a sale.
  14. Brafuckingvo carpet. Not sure why but I’ve been laughing at this ever since you posted it. I’ve tried explaining to Mrs Disco why I’m in hysterics and I can’t get the words out!
  15. Is the clubs approval written into the Articles?
  16. Surely use of the word “dude” in two posts is enough to get the banhammer out, let alone the affront to humanity that is “homies”.
  17. Like most people, I contribute what I do because I want to help the club and it’s an affordable amount, so I’m unlikely to stop mine. But it does worry me that FSS are being taken for granted.
  18. can’t argue with any of that, but if we continue to put cash in we should continue to get more influence, no? Or should we be insisting others match our funding (so everyone’s equity interest remains proportionate) and the club gets even more money? Perhaps more tellingly, give me a good reason why we SHOULDNT get more equity for injecting funds continuously.
  19. Yeah I agree. Nothing stops investment, but lets FFS have a say. That’s the point. If FSS continues to put in money but gets nothing in return, it’s completely imbalanced - but we now have a loan to repay, so I think the club is banking on FSS having an obligation there so not wanting to rock the boat too much. If I were in charge of the club, I’d ask for what theyre asking for - free cash from the ever loving supporters. Instead of putting the gate fee up, they're at least getting cash from those that fee they can afford it!
