  1. On the Stranraer highlights, how the hell does he not give a penalty at https://youtu.be/Gp1QcZvhtrk?t=402 the guys arm is on the back of Trouten's neck and he bundles him over ?!
  2. Cracking finish from Jack for the winner, that might settle him a bit as imo he's been trying too hard to make things happen.
  3. The wind ruined the match but a good 3 points for The Fifers' leaving us just 6 points behind Spartans whom we still have to play at home. 7 games unbeaten under the new management team with 4 wins and 3 draws, well done to all involved ! Stranraer won the toss and correctly played with the wind. They took the lead with a Grant free kick from wide position that crept in at the far post. Apart from that Stranraer didn't really threaten while we found it difficult to get make clear cut chances despite having the majority of the ball. Full credit to the young lads in the 2nd half, James Lyon took his goal well and was great to see Jack score his first of the season. Falling behind seemed to alert Stranraer to the danger they are in and they showed a bit more urgency without bothering Fleming. Top marks to Blaney, Easton and Trouten who i thought were the pick of the bunch. We missed Fash today but the players proved we aren't a 1 man team. Onto next week at home v Elgin City.
  4. Nice sunny day in the Kingdom if a little breezy. Can East Fife continue their unbeaten run under the Campbells' ? Hopeful for a home win but the blues will be fighting for everything. We have to be on our game from the start this week. East Fife will continue with 4-2-3-1. I would pick : -Fleming- -Murdoch- Blaney-Easton-Newton- -Millar- -McManus- -Shepherd- -Trouten- -Healy- -Austin-
  5. Certainly not criticising, I think your media team do a great job inc commentators, they are very entertaining.
  6. That was some play acting by Dingwall and the "Dingwall is deid" line, brilliant
  7. Ooft fair dues, we ain't catching you now
  8. I would expect us to line up 4-2-3-1 The club preview states Pagey will be fit, not sure who will fill the 5 midfield places, subs have been making an impact recently and i can't say i was too impressed with Hamilton last week.
  9. Yeah it's about as realistic as Clyde FC getting a ground of their own.
  10. The goals we conceded were very poor defending. Obviously Easton stumbles for the 2nd but for the 1st goal Hamilton is with Grey, who drifts off him and leaves Hamilton ball watching, good finish but definitely avoidable. Have to be sharper next week.
  11. First of all credit to the players from both sides for making it such an entertaining game in awful conditions. Onto the game, said to a mate the coin toss would be important, so was surprised to see East FIfe kick off with the wind. Dumbarton won and opted to face the elements, was this a Faz masterplan ? East Fife started on fire Fash tapped in after 4 mins and could/should have been 3-0 up in 15 mins, Dumbarton looked lost but to their credit they worked into the game and Finlay Gray ought to have scored. He did score early in 2nd half, a very well taken effort then Easton slipped letting in Hilton to sweep the ball home. Easton made amends with a free header from a corner. Dick made some midfield changes and Fash rose like a salmon to head home a Healy cross. Got to question the goal keeper, he seemed to lose his bearings. Big shout out to Jacob Blaney who made his debut coming on for Page and performed well in the circumstances. Big win for East Fife, after some recent home draws it looked like another but credit to the players for fighting to the end. Onto Peterhead next week.
  12. You got the lottery numbers by any chance ?
  13. The Fifers' v The Sons' meet tomorrow at Bayview. With the wind from the east and nothing between the stadium and Denmark, rap up well as its going to be chilly ! 9 points separate the teams for the coveted 4th play-off spot and with 9 games left East Fife have to win to stand a chance of catching Dumbarton. Dick Campbell will stick with his 4-2-3-1 formation and should name the same starting 11 as last week. -Fleming- -Murdoch-Page-Easton-Newton- -McManus-Walls- -Shepherd-Trouten-Hamilton- -Austin-
  14. If we have any notions of catching Dumbarton we have to win. Our home form has been patchy last few months with too many draws but the players' confidence has to be high after going 4 unbeaten.
  15. I think you boys will catch Stranraer and/or Bonnyrigg who cant buy a goal or win atm. They are both playing mid-week v top 4 sides at home, if they loose the writing is on the wall.
  16. Excellent, well done the players & management.
  17. I take your point. There's a difference in turning out in a position because of injury etc and being effective and improving the team as a whole. He is far more effective on the right.
  18. He can't play in the middle. He's a decent attacking right back or a right midfield.
  19. Edinburgh City council own Ainslie Park ?
