Found myself with Tuesday off, is Brechin easy to get too from Blairgowrie , is it decent for parking and lastly is it usually Baltic or will I get away with a jumper and light jacket?

The parking should be fine, (unless we take a massive support) plenty of side streets right beside the ground.

Graham - never played in a team that finished top 6 - mostly bounced about Championship and league 1 on loan - the season he made most of his 24 top flight appearances you got relegated.

Strain - past 2 seasons but a crock  - 17 league appearances last year - ooft.

Sibbald - your best player - but 2 seasons in the top 6 4 & 5 years ago. Mainly championship jobber.

Moult - player in his day - this will be a season too far. Slower than you.

Gallagher - utterly humpty as we all know - was decent for 3/4 years about that long ago.

Middleton/Watt/Grimshaw - 3 players your own fans hate and apparently club are actively trying to get rid of - great example.

Babunki is a “pler” - against stenhousemuir - he’s had more mutual consent terminations than appearances at a decent level. Reeks of Wato Kuate. In any case player of the year nominee McCowan and young player of the year nominee Cameron pish on both his and Sibbald then you’ve got man mountain Sylla dominating both physically at the same time while Doc nurses his hammy and your back up CM options of precisely nobody watch on.

The gap from last years championship to last years premiership - maybe Livingston aside - was a chasm. County and St Johnstone were abhorrent and County pumped a Raith team you struggled with in 2nd gear.

You boys are in for a shock and I am here for it - Dundee Utd, St Johnstone and Ross County are miles behind the rest of the clubs as it stands. You better hope you do some decent business.

Now take your very misplaced optimism elsewhere.

    Thank you again.

You missed out Kevin 'Holtie'. Holt.

    Thank you.

Proven to be an absolutely shite top 6 team, iirc. 1 point out of 15 post split was it?

We were mentally and physically fucked by the effort of trying to acheive it, so that was no surprise.

Fantastic effort from a newly promoted side though, no denying that.

We'll see how Goodwin gets on.

    Thank you.

What a load of jobbies you speak on here man.

Firstly, we have a number of players that have proven themselves in teams that made top six.

Secondly, why does it matter anyway if they are 'proven' in the top six? Celtic/Rangers for example sign players usually from outside of Scotland, does that mean they are not proven either until they've done it for a season?

Thirdly, we have brought in players from other leagues that genuinely look very decent on first viewings (Ferry, Trap, Babunski in particular) and expecting a few more signings to improve the first 11.

Lastly, just because your team scraped top six one year where the likes of Hibs, Aberdeen etc had horrific season doesn't mean it will repeat itself, there is absolutely nothing to split the two teams and if you think so then you are deluded.

    ^^^^^^^

    Absolutely shitting it.

    Thank you.

Plus all the additional money we are getting from fleecing the Funsters…

You're fleecing your own support as well, not you though, your too busy getting your fat arse sunburnt.

    Thank you.

Dundee United: hang your heads in shame.

This match that means so much to the working man in Dundee has been launched into the £34 bracket in the newest scandal across at Tannadice.

This is truly one of the lowest points in Dundee Derby history. When you see it in text it actually hit home what a sorry state football is in.

I'd rather chuck £34 towards a banner that expressed the point that the prices are getting out of hand.

    Ram it.

    Thank you.

Well said. We're getting f**k all tickets anyway, so let the mugs from east angus take it up the hoop, on and off the park.

    Thank you.

Why should we be forced into paying for something that is a state sponsored paedo ring? They have known what was going on in that organisation since the 70s and chose to ignore it, good enough reason for me to refuse them another penny.

    Spot on.

Anyway back to United chat on a United thread. I see our erstwhile board have decided to fleece the non ST holding football fans with the derby ticket pricing. Absolutely shocking pricing structure. Can only assume they think"football folk are stupid and they'll pay what ever we charge anyway" or they think folk going stuff that will give us an advantage with just ST holders at games.

    Very poor regardless of reasoning.

Well said, but at the end of the day who else is going to pay fat Tonys 4k a week?

    Thank you.

The TV licence is absolutely peanuts. I must spend more money on VOSS each week than the Licence costs in a year. Just pay it.

    What a mug.

    Thank you.

TV Licence enforcers are absolute shysters who prey on the vulnerable. Not sure if it's still the case but they were on commission for every licence they could sell previously.

There was recent case where they took a young woman with learning difficulties to court, the absolute scum. If they ever show up the correct response is 'No thank you'. and then simply close the door, never engage with them.

That's disappointing to hear about Strain, but entirely predictable.

Word was that he doesn't exactly look after himself away from the pitch/training and his fitness is a real issue. A proper shame as he is a great player. Hopefully for him it's not the 3 months that's being reported.

You would think the DAB's would've done a bit of background research on the guy, before chucking the lucrative salary at him. It's just more money chucked down the bottomless pit at the Fruitbowl.

Excellent work from Capt Birdseye, yet again.

    Thank you.
