  1. Anyone see the fat kid almost raving? It made me burst into tears. It was similar to the Brock guy levels of hilarity.
  2. Knowing WWE and Hogan, Teddy Long will come out and go Taker, Hogan, Sting, Lesnar... Let's make it a tag team match playas! Holla Holla Holla!!!! With a nasty boy in each corner.
  3. Horrible news. Wish him all the best. Just as he was overcoming his demons as well.
  4. Had heard of Jonestown before, but never really read into it until I seen an upcoming trailer for the film, 'The Sacrament', seen here: It's some creepy shit in reality though: Jonestown.
  5. Typical first episode affair really. Ross is a bit over keen with the sponsors although obviously he has to be. His introduction gives you nothing, so the first ten minutes are skipable. It picks up from there and it's a really good insight into the decision making that goes on with Wwe and it doesn't sound as mad as we all assume it to be. Interview with Austin is decent and I believe he's back next week as well. Ross is also planning on taking calls from fans throughout so there's always the potential of car crash listening too! Overall, I'd definitely recommend it. Not as good as Austin's by a long way, but it's only the first episode and has a lot of potential in my opinion. Well worth a listen.
  6. Jim Ross' Ross Report just started up yesterday. Able to find it on iTunes and PodcastOne website.
  7. Dundee Mad to my surprise has a very unhealthy section of No's. There hasn't been a poll conducted but just going from the various opinions on it. Very surprising considering the city seems to largely favour the SNP and Independence from what I've seen. I may have only noticed this because the No voters seem to be permanently in outrage mode though.
  8. All this talk of how good Norway is, if Scotland doesn't gain independence, I'm fucking off there, they seem to have a braw life.

    Californication

Anyone watch this? Currently on the 4th season on Netflix and have to say although it's tailed off a little bit, it's a fantastic easy watch. David Duchovny as the main character gave me doubts as I thought I'd just always associate him with The X-Files, but he's brilliant in it. The best part in the series is Dana White lookalike Charlie Runkle as his storylines are hilarious most of the time!
  10. Probably posted elsewhere, but well worth a watch:
  11. The WWE let Kurt Angle go. Granted, different circumstances and they probably wouldn't 'happily' let him go, they'd probably prevent it, but if it did happen, WWE would still comfortably be the number 1 show and wouldn't really suffer for more than a few weeks.
  12. Lets face it, even if he went to TNA and got them a bigger rise in ratings than expected, they still wouldn't be anywhere near the same ballpark as WWE.
  13. Of course they'll spin it in their favour and market it as if it was planned all along. That's the brilliance of Vince McMahon. It was undoubtedly a mistake but as long as there's a slight element of doubt, Vince will work it so that it benefits him.
  14. I know it's not related to stadiums but here's another few old pictures related to Dundee that some may like. Our Boys and East End merged in 1893 to form Dundee FC, here's Our Boys in 1886: Here's a picture of the very first Dundee FC team before their very first game against Rangers at Craigie Park: The day we won the league at Muirton in 1962: And again: Match action:
  15. Are there any pictures of the 1952 SC Final where we played Motherwell with a Non-OF related record attendance?
  16. Who were Liotta and Pesci playing 13 years ago? ETA: I presume you mean Goodfellas, which was released 24 year ago. I thought for a second there was a film I'd missed out on!
  17. Few more pictures of Dens of old. 1945 against Rangers: A corner kick being taken in 1936: Our much derided Main Stand when we attracted big crowds, looked fantastic: 1962 the year we won the league:
  18. Does anyone call the cinema, 'the pictures' these days? Never really hear it so much now and cinema sounds much more twattish when spoken for some reason.
  19. It was 115 year ago we moved from Carolina Port to Dens Park and it was about 15 year ago that we updated our two stands behind the goals to have a more 'modern' look. Our much criticised Main Stand is a listed building I believe, having been built by the renowned architect Archibald Leitch. Here's one of his stadium plans: As you can see, the back of the Derry still looks much the same, but obviously contains a stand now and the Main Stand is still standing today. Here's a picture of the stadium not long after the Main Stand was built I believe:
  20. How has James Thomson been for East Fife? We're about to sign Stephen Hughes, perhaps even today, how is he these days?
  21. To entertain fans in the business she loved... And money, lots and lots of money.
  22. Think she's pretty much on her way out, in the care of a hospice last I heard.
  23. If we receive the same deal as the US fans in 'late 2014/early 2015', by that I mean same content and same price (£6) then I'd be absolutely ecstatic.
