  1. Man Utd 5-1 Leeds. Down with a Man Utd supporting mate.

A full stadium with no restrictions felt fucking brilliant. What a fixture for fans to return to in full aswell - atmosphere was electric with the biggest cheer perhaps being Varane being paraded pre-match after signing about 10 mins before kick off.

First half was end to end with Leeds pretty unlucky to be going in a goal down at the break but after they equalised, Man U took complete control and absolutely battered them. Pogba set up 4 of the 5 goals with 2 of the assists being world class passes. The other assist from Lindelof for Bruno Fernandes hat trick goal was another sublime set up.

From a Scottish perspective, McTominay had an excellent game and was everywhere. Despite conceding 5 goals I don't think Cooper was particularly bad for Leeds, his central defensive partner Struijk had a stinker though.

Few photos, the bottom one being the Leeds fans celebrating their equaliser, a photo I'm quite happy with myself about  Think it's a belter.

How straightforward is it to get a ticket for tomorrow's game against Alloa Athletic?

There's no information on the club website or on social media.

Its pay at the gate (sort of). Contactless or if using cash then pick up a ticket from the wee window to the left of the main entrance.

What's amazing about the enigma that is Robert Jones is that the fans of the 4 senior clubs he's played for have all said stuff similar to this about him, yet 4 different managers of senior clubs have thought "he could be useful". There are times where I think I must be missing something and there are times when I think Scottish football managers really are just fucking winging it.

To be bluntly honest, he's been our best signing so far in terms of contribution which probably tells you all you need to know about our recruitment this year.

Despite his horror moment last night, he won a penalty v Killie by being a presence, scored a neat goal v EK, set up Ally Love at Morton and came on and made an impact at Montrose, scoring to get us back into the game. I could rhyme off an endless list of strikers we've had in my time supporting Clyde who have done nowhere near that amount in their first few appearances. Having said that though, he will still give us more frustrating moments than good ones over the course.

If we didn't already know - Mortimer, Docherty, Andrew and McGrath (although I'm inclined to give him more of a chance as I don't think he's a winger?) are absolutely miles away from it. You'd think a cup tie against a team 2 divisions below us would be a game they might look half decent in but nah.

5 centre mids in the line-up on Saturday then 1 centre mid in the line up last night. It's if Lennon's flinging mud at the wall hoping something will stick. Love in the role he was in last night was just utterly bizarre, and the player himself must be starting to get frustrated at the amount of different positions he's being asked to play.

At least the new centre back didn't do anything spectacularly bad, although I'll reserve proper judgement on him until he's tested.

But the game before that (1-0 Alloa win) was memorable for big Fraser Forrest pulling out kung fu kicks and thinking he was an outfield goalkeeper- getting sent off after half an hour. He probably got about 15 minutes more than he should have, and I remember laughing as he took his seat in the stand 2nd half, inexplicably completely raging about it 😄

If that's the game I'm thinking of, we were an utter embarrassment that night. 1-0 down playing against 10 men for an hour, about 57 mins of which was spent passing the ball between our back 4 not even attempting to try and break Alloa down.

What as the equaliser like? Link sent to shit as the corner was taken.

A corner came out to Splaine on the corner of the box, had about 3 or 4 players around him but managed to get a ball back in and Love was unmarked at the back post for a simple headed finish.

Great end to the game today but the performance for the first 88 mins was yet again nowhere near it. The manner in which we concede goals is laughable and has been pretty much since we came back up to this division.

    Not £15 tbh.

It was a shock but it won't put me off going. I'm swithering between Montrose, Forfar or Deveronvale.

The last one sounds best as it'll take most of the day to do.

That's probably actually going to be one of the cheaper entry prices in our league this season. We're £17, Airdrie £18.

edit - didn't realise Moonster already mentioned about them being cheaper

I said this today. The fact we made (in my opinion) the right decision and got a new manager in rather than keep with Duffy will be the difference between us and Clyde. Both teams were very similar last season and I felt both needed a fresh approach to things. Clyde stuck the dinosaur that Lennon is and we didn't.

All the best but I do feel Clyde will struggle this year due to not changing enough in pre-season. It was clear you guys only just scraped avoiding the play offs last season. We were exactly the same but seem to have at least tried to do something about it.

We changed plenty with 14 (I think) new signings. Problem is they don't look any better (and indeed a fair bit worse) than what was let go.

Gomis and Balatoni were 2 I was content about signing but even they were rank today.

It's pay at the gate, why wouldn't it be sit where you want? Surely we're not going to have stewards ushering us into set seats?

That wasn't even happening at previous home games when it was tickets only. Perhaps he means the centre of the stand being shut off for subs/directors etc
