  1. Still very early in the season of course but us playing EF and Peterhead away to QP is a good opportunity for results to go our way and pull a little bit clear of the sides we'll likely be battling it out with to avoid relegation. Shame about our pitiful away record.

Would like to see Tade and Dgw up front Saturday. Not sure what DL saw/sees in Jones

Done well in his cameo on Saturday Tade but don't think he looks anywhere near ready to start a game yet. Would go with Goodie and Cunningham like the Cove game and keep Tade and Jones for options from the bench.

Just look at our play-off (I'll concede that was a one-off game etc etc), but we had almost 3000 of a crowd that day with not many Annan fans there, (could QP pull in even half that) we are hardy a sleeping giant, but we have many, many "fans" who don't go to or can't be arsed (who can blame them 🤣) going to Broadwood.

This reminds me that there's an older guy who stays across the road from me who I sometimes see kicking about in Clyde shirts, but have never ever came across him at Broadwood in my whole time going. Obviously don't know his circumstances and like you say he's far from the only one.

We must be about the only club in Scotland whose gates have decreased rather than increased after being locked out for 18 months.

He's on 100 according to Clyde Twitter.

That's what confused me and made me ask if they were including that goal at Hampden as I mind David saying something regarding that a couple of weeks ago.

Surprised we started with a back 3/5 after seeing the line up. Who was the 3rd centre half?

4-4-2 with Robertson playing LM to neutralise their RB.

    Gordon

    SOD-Hendry-Cooper-Tierney

    McGinn-McGregor-Gilmour-Robertson

    Dykes-Adams

    McGinn at right mid?

I would play that line up for this game but in the usual formation.

  6. The move to a back 3 proved shrewd against Cove but I can't help but think our hand will be forced to revert back with Elsdon (and potentially Rumsby) unavailable. Even if Rumsby does make it, does a back 3 of him, Balatoni and Docherty (only option unless Page has recovered) give anyone confidence? No.

Absolutely made up for Mitch and his folks. Great guy moving to a huge club. Can't remember the last time one of our players got a move to the Premier League.

In terms of getting a transfer fee for a contracted player it would probably be Imrie to Inverness. But in terms of a big, established Premiership club, Hinds to Aberdeen?
