  1. I agree with this provided he gets game time and I see no reason why he can't get this based on his performances so far. Menga, Hardie or whoever else will not be waltzing into the team.
  2. Smith apparently wants the move but the St. Mirren board are currently blocking it. I do not blame them.
  3. I would rather he went to League 1. BBC saying if we have any additions before the window tomorrow, they will be on loan.
  4. That doesn't surprise me but I can only judge on what I have seen.
  5. Agree with this 100%. No idea about behind the scenes but in public he was (and is continuing to be) professional. He will get booed though unquestionably.
  6. With Burns coming in, I see Hardie has been given #9. Very fitting.
  7. Is it really that many though? We've been used to a slimline squad the last few years...we certainly have plenty of depth and a lot of the players are versatile...it's what's needed in the top Division I suppose You're right, I'm just not used to so many players missing out on the match day squad. Reserves should be solid, if nothing else.
  8. Reserves beaten 2-1 tonight away to Ayr. No idea on our line-up unfortunately.
  9. Think it was said yesterday but that was our first away win at this level in 13 games. Amazing how shite that last season was. New signing tomorrow. I don't want to jump to conclusions but I'm pretty sure I saw Cammy Smith in Tony Macs earlier.
  10. It depends on what they want for him but Smith seems a pretty sound investment given his performances last season.
  11. What formation did we line up with yesterday? I was struggling to work it out from the team sheet.
  12. Paul Dalglish linked with the job. Previously managed Miami FC reserves. https://www.thescottishsun.co.uk/sport/football/3099068/paul-dalglish-livingston-shock-contender-kenny-miller-kenny-dalglish-son/
  13. It's a complete nonsense. We played much better football last year away on artificial pitches than at Almondvale (which turned into a bog around the turn of the year). The same people blindly moaning about artificial pitches will be the ones complaining when games are called off or descend into constant long balls.
  14. Good to see Tam McManus still has an axe to grind after we left him in tears 13 years ago. Get it right up him.
  15. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tevi_Steve_Lawson The team he signed from were just promoted to the Swiss second division. Hopefully a Tony Andreu rather than David Luongo.
  16. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/35140400 Hopkin's first game in charge last time...
  17. Never really got an answer for that. Think it was wanting to leave on a high with lots of jobs in England available at the time.
  18. You would have to think the offer will be put out to him. Very, very weird. Will have to wait for more information about whether he has resigned/been sacked etc.
  19. While I don't think we have to win, we have to look at this as a great opportunity away to a team who were just thumped 4-0. A positive score draw could be a good result for us.
  20. Might be wrong but it didn't sound like there was a change, just that the initial story wasn't correct.
