  1. Not as surprised as me. Eagles fan for my sins
  2. Eagles now favourites again for the division. Unbelievable....
  3. Great offer for anyone in the Inverclyde area looking to get back playing again or searching for a new club.
  4. Mindboggling. I don't doubt for a minute that Chip Kelly knows better than me but this move seems to be a very strange one.
  5. Eagles - In: Frank Gore, Byron Maxwell, Kiko Alonso. Out: Todd Herremans, Trent Cole, Cary Williams (all released), shady McCoy (Bills), Jeremy Maclin (Cheifs), Three good pickups but extremely disappointed to lose Maclin. Unsure what direction we're going in terms of the wide receiver position but I have concerns there.
  6. http://www.randa.org/RandA/News/News/2014/January/Revision-to-Rules-Regarding-Distance-Measuring-Devices.aspx Was sent this link... By the sounds of this, Iphones are allowed to be used as distance measuring devices, provided that the app only provides information on distance. I was under the impression there was a blanket ban on Iphones due to the compass and spirit level apps but this seems to be specifically addressed in the article. Any ideas?
  7. Nick Cotton is by far the worst actor the show has ever seen. Quite remarkable that he's managed to forge a career as an actor given the clear lack of ability.
  8. Do this many darts normally fall out the board?! Seems an unbelievable amount. Anderson has absolutely no luck at all
  9. What was that all about? I thought the killer was to be named tonight?
  10. What a comeback by the Eagles today! 0-17 down at the half, to come back and win 34-17 was quite inbelievble. A great game to watch.
  11. Much better golf recently with almost all my rounds this month around the mid 70s. Yesterday I managed my best score, 73-8=65 with a CSS 71. Cut to 6.6, a full shot lower than I've ever been up until now. Quite amazing how one month can turn around a season that had been so poor - shame I've left it so late to start shooting decent scores!
  12. Cut to 7.8 after a 74-8=66 (CSS 69) last night. Two double bogeys in the front nine were offset by an eagle 3 from 160 yards at 5 which was pleasing. Glad to be playing better golf again
  13. With another 0.1 on Saturday (now up 0.9 since beginning of may) I managed to get myself up to 8.5 and my excellent form continued on Wednesday night... I really should just call it a day and be done with it.
  14. Peedzy, do I know you from the club? Hope your game is looking better than mine for the championship!
  15. It's just soul destroying playing so poorly for such a sustained period of time. Played 8 holes last night - 1. Lost ball off the tee - double 2. Nearly drove the green (missed left), pitched through the green (admittedly from a tough position) and failed to get up and down - bogey 3. Bogey 4. Penalty stroke for going in the burn off the tee, bogey. 5. Hit the par 5 green in two and three stabbed, par 6. Par 7. Par 8. Missed green left and lost ball - double. No medals for me this week...
  16. Having a torrid time with the golf these days. Moved jobs a couple of months back and have saw my handicap rise by 0.6 in that time with absolutely no signs of even remotely challenging for a score. Have played plenty, have probably done more practicing than I have for years and even tried resting for a week or so there but to no avail. Find myself going straight left off the tee more often than not, couldn't tell you the last time I managed to get up and down and my putting is as inconsistent as ever. Depressing stuff.
  17. Frustrating medal round yesterday. Managed to drop 8 shots in my opening 7 holes before playing the next 7 in level par. Two poor 3 putts on par 3s in the back 9 cost me as my 78 less 8 could only match the CSS of 70.
  18. My putting is beyond a joke at the moment, which is disappointing given the rest of my game is surprisingly good for this time of year. Managed to miss 6 putts from within 2 ft (3 of which were from 12-14 inches) in the medal on Saturday but came away with a 77 for a 0.2 cut to 7.7 thanks to the increased CSS. Won a doubles tie on Sunday in a belting match, won at 18 with our opponents on the green in 2 and my partner putting me under a tree 170 yards from the green off the tee - outrageous finish but no complaints. Played the "bonus" bank holiday medal on Monday and continued my awful putting while struggling terribly with the wind for a 86 - my highest score for a number of years.
  19. Jackson is denying all ties to the crips and any other gang.
