I don't think booting them out of the league was ever going to be seriously on the agenda. The other 9 3rd Division clubs aren't going to vote on a punishment that reduces their fixture list by 4 games in a season.

They were demoted for being unable to guarantee 36 fixtures, a week after saying they would.

F**k off! Can you imagine what would have happened if the initial vote had fallen during rag week? Livi would have been demoted to the Dundee Soccerworld Sunday night 6 a side league, with a minus 200 point deduction and a 1000 year transfer embargo.

The Gretna one is a bit confusing. SD will no doubt have the correct answer, but my recollection was along the lines of the state of the ground, and Gretna's inability to do anything with it, meant they'd be unable to fulfil a season of fixtures, and for this they were demoted. Or something like that.

For me? I'm a Dundee fan so i'm sure it'll be fine Had they not been demoted i'm sure the stadium would have "somehow" been made ready. We've had that many sob stories/threats/toys out of pram moments from McGruther and the Consortium it's hard to keep track

I suspect he shit-stirs. According to LL there will be an inspection before Saturday and the game will go ahead. If it doesn't and it's Livi's fault (again) they can expect another points deduction.
