  1. I think he meant special as in nice, not special as in school...
  2. I see that noted Dumbarton fan / undercover journo / insufferable know-it-all @Jan Vojáček is starting a podcast with/about the club. That should be good. I've never listened to a podcast before, mainly because I've seen a vagina, but I will seek this one out.
  3. Now that the nonsense is over, I'm looking forward to getting back to league business. Elgin the latest lambs to the slaughter and will be soundly beaten, just as my footman is whenever he fails to open my carriage door.
  4. Absolutely right. There is a fundamental problem within the collective psyche of the rangers support. Incapable of rational, reasoned thought and convinced that they are persecuted at all times. Absurd people.
  5. Ridiculous slevering mess of a fan base
  6. Anyway, moving on from the untimely death of Alex Lowry, why was there an SIA badged steward last night controlling when people went forward in the tea bar queue? It was utterly bizarre. He was holding his arm up as a barrier when the three ladies serving were occupied by punters, then when one would become free he'd point his radio and say "go to that one". Are Rangers fans such animals that they don't know how a queue works? Or Dumbarton fans? What was that about?
  7. The funny thing about the "is Ally Love a Tim" pish is that Ally's a big Rangers fan. Just further highlights the mentality of these dimwits.
  8. We were outclassed by every possible metric tonight and the result and competition don't matter. However, some notes and observations: the two Wilson's are as bad as, or possibly even worse than, I feared / have been banging on about. Both utterly rotten, not just tonight, but generally, and we have zero strength in depth outside the main 14 or so players. Their wages would be better spent on any other two footballers. Come injuries, suspensions, loss of form, any other player unavailability reason, we will struggle if we're relying on players so far below the level of the rest of the squad to fill gaps in the starting line up. McGeever may be recovered from his injury, but he's nowhere near ready to compete for a place in the team. He's months away from match sharpness. Harry Broun was atrocious tonight. I bigged him up, rightly, after his excellent performance against Raith, but tonight he was utterly abysmal and looked like he'd never played football before. Possibly the worst goalkeeping performance I've ever seen. Glad to see the young kid Breen get a run out off the bench for the first team.
  9. Wish I'd stayed home and saved the 9 quid.
  10. Queen's Park are still on the go tbf. For now. Their financial doping will end in tears and snotters just like so many before them.
  11. I'm going to put my head above the parapet and admit I'm going along to this nonsense tonight. Purely because I can't resist the chance to see @Beast9 start his first game and watch him banjoing a bunch of Rangers kids. I'm still not in favour of the B teams shite, but the big man's too big a draw to miss for me.
  12. Good problem to have. Same with Ryan Wallace, technically our best forward, but unable to get a start due to others' form.
  13. Professional looking highlights package from Stenhousemuir. Were I a Warriors fan I'd be angry with the manager's post match interview. To say things like "we look a really bad team", "there's boys in there struggling psychologically" and "there's boys frustrated they can't get to their own levels their capable of" is atrocious, particularly 4 games into the league, especially when you've been tipped as a pre season title contender, but frankly atrocious comments for a manager to make at any time really. He's basically blamed the players for being shite, admitted he doesn't know why they've lost several games and he doesn't know what to do to fix it. Shambles. Fingers crossed he keeps his job.
  14. The bottom team did finish last though...
  15. Presumably in a 2-0 win. No, 3-0. Gray's will be a brace.
  16. 1-3, get it up ye, Moonster, ya shite moustached wee p***k. Yas!
  17. I'm also following via twitter today while out my tits on pain meds.
  18. 0-1 Sons currently. Ryan Blair with the goal.
  19. Someone get Iain Chisholm on the phone. We're getting the band back together. *Yes, I realise they played for the club at different times.
  20. Nothing ventured, nothing gained. He looked in the shape of his life last Saturday and knew exactly where to be for the ball coming in and where to put it for his assist. Best of luck and I hope it works out. He had the fans out their seats just by warming up last week. Whatever happens it'll be good fun.
