Happy enough with a local trip to Forthbank in Round 3, a ground I always enjoy visiting, and a winnable tie for us. Will be sad for Binos fans to see their greatest ever player is only a jobbers squad player for us. The loser will be made to give Daz a lifetime contract.

Fair play to Danny and the players for turning that round. Completely outclassed first half yet bossed the second half. Ballsy from Danny to make all subs by half time but paid off. If I never see petkov in a Clyde jersey again it will be too soon.

To be fair he could definitely have framed this in a less bizarre way but the sentiment behind it is bang on. The amount of soft as shite, prima Donna youths this country produces is embarrassing. Boys that chuck it at the slightest criticism and are not even that good to begin with but too arrogant to listen to advice on how to improve. The Spanish in-house system develops players right through from youths to first team (another big fault of ours is the disconnect from youths to senior team). Far far better than the shite we are churning out.

Agree with this and do have some sympathy for Stranraer. The sending off (it was a pen and booking imo), the second penalty award and the retake were all pretty harsh decisions. Their coaching staff were remarkably calm at the end although decisions aside they were absolutely thrashed. That brings me onto Stranraer, what an utter rabble. For an experienced head Jamie hammell was laughably bad. We won’t have an easier match or 3 points all season. Goodies 2 goals that weren’t pens were class and a good goal by DLS too. Danny was right in his comments, days like that don’t come around too often but was thoroughly enjoyable. Well done to all and onto Peterhead.

We should probably do away with the ‘established league one side’ chat before games as Stranraer were as shite as it gets on today’s performance and we rightly annihilated them. Was an absolute joy to watch goodie, mcstay & grant breezing through the game. All class acts that we should really appreciate while we have them. Very enjoyable day and if we can play as well as that regularly we will have a great season.
