Having now watched the EF highlights mcniff could possibly have cut that out but he would needed to have turned and let his man run off him to win the header. Easier to follow his man and stand him up as he did. Can see why DL was annoyed at Wallace as the overlap comes from him not tracking back and leaves Mcniff 2 on 1. To be fair I don’t think mcniff did too much wrong for the goal but that’s not to say I think he is the answer at LB. He does seem to be the target for most of our frustrations at the minute though, in this case harshly so IMO.

I did say one of the finest and that is more of a personal view I suppose given that I was a fairly young lad in my first season following the team regularly back then. To go to a team from a league above and tonk them 4-0 seemed pretty notable. Atmosphere in the away end was great that day too. There have been plenty of other highs and lows over the years though [emoji23].

Time to get the real stuff started. A pretty dire preseason and league cup showing has drained away much of the optimism I had following promotion. Not sure what’s stupid about suggesting serious crimes should be tried in a criminal court rather than a civil court. If there is not enough evidence for a proper criminal conviction then it’s improper to make a judgment based on probabilities IMO.

Why would he express remorse for something of which he believes he is innocent? Should never have went to civil court, it’s a disgrace to label someone a rapist without having to worry about evidence and just going on balance of probability.

It’s been mentioned by São Paulo and a couple of other posters but we should be going 352 with the players at our disposal. Having mcniff howie and rumsby as a tighter 3 at the back would prevent mcniff being caught out in the channels all the time and allow him to defend first and foremost. It would also suit Howie to let mcniff and rumsby be the aggressive ball winners and aerial battlers and he can sweep. He looks good on the ball and drives forward well but lacks a little in the air from what I’ve seen. Cuddihy would be a stick on for RwB with maybe Wallace or a new signing for LWB. Most of the grounds have an atmosphere similar to the moon with 2 men and a dug watching, any atmosphere will likely be generated by your away support. Then you have teams like ourselves and airdrie with half decent and reasonably vocal support that play in massive soulless white elephants. Falkirk should be expecting to swat aside most of the teams in the league with the players they are bringing in, that’s not disrespectful it’s being realistic.
