  1. Well then why did Ms. Bingham say it "“could cause them some freak harm”?
  2. Mon' (Forza?) the Italians - with a bit of luck redundancy for me! https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-54415944
  3. Smallpox isn't prevalent all over the country - I may eventually turn out to be in a minority on this issue but if a vaccine is considered to be potentially more harmful than beneficial to give to over 50% of the population then I'd say you'd be better off waiting till a safe(ish) vaccine is available. A vaccine with that level of efficacy will likely be a hard sell to many of those eligible.
  4. Vaccine for all? To me this seems to be endorsing anti-vaxxers to an extent, if your saying over half the population might be better off without getting the vaccine then how many eligible old gammon types will say it's not for me?
  5. Currently on N/S and saw 30 minutes of the "debate", whilst the Don probably thinks he won for me Biden did merely by seeming sane, if a bit doddery. Like everyone else I guess it'll come down to who can get the highest percentage of their voter's to return ballots and how much confusion/intimidation Trump can bring to bear. I still think Biden will win but as the man said "sleep with one eye open".
  6. Staying off-topic when I was a student back in the 80s there were bars round the Gallowgate that stayed open well past midnight and when they closed you could move onto early morning establishments at the Fruitmarket and "do the 24". PS - Despite a half-hearted attempt once, I never did.
  7. Can you get a carry out after 10pm - the convenience stores where I live shut then & IIRC the supermarkets block the aisles at that time too?
  8. If we don't have the players to mix it with the likes of the Dundee Utd., or Killie then the likelihood is a dogfight with Accies for 11th spot, we'd better toughen up cos Accies tenure in the top flight has been characterised by pulling out big results when least expected - 35 points seems a long way away.
  9. Never, but that youtube clip of the racist getting decked on the Underground came close.
  10. As above but congrats for being a bunch of shaggers!
  11. Relegation dogfight it is, can't remember the last time we had one of them!
  12. If Biden wins I reckon he'll have enough patronage to persuade 3/4 Republican Senators to vote against any Trump candidate.
  13. I think he'll be here for a bit longer, take the Brexit/Covid fallout before heading off to rake the post-PM dosh in claiming Brexit completed/Covid defeated.
  14. Fair enough but at this stage in the election cycle I feel there would be more incentive for the Democrats to filibuster or whatever it takes like the Republicans did 4 years ago.
  15. The Don might be able to push through a "not too extreme" candidate before January but that's not really been his style and any skeleton in the candidate's closet would most likely scupper it before then too.
  16. Underpaid , I reckon if there's a lull in the Brexit/Covid clusterfucks next year he'll be off - back to the Telegraph (pronto) and all the book deals, after dinner speeches and directorships he can get faster than he can say his full name.
  17. It's the 50th Anniversary of Jimi Hendrix's death and if IIRC the last thing he had to eat was a tuna sandwich (white bread).
  18. You would hope Salmond would do the noble (1b) thing and keep and stay above it all next May, sadly I think NS & her cronies have effectively nobbled him.
  19. On the 50th Anniversary of Sabbath's Paranoid elpees release may I suggest the Artic Monkeys cheeky homage to War Pigs... On a sadder note also the 50th Anniversary of Jimi Hendrix's death
  20. Statin' the bleedin obvious but there's possession & possession - when you're 2-0 up after 15 mins you can afford to let the other team fanny about with the ball.
  21. Where's your head at Boris? In response to Pretty Patel's (sic) "dob on your neighbours" comments BJ shows it's still back in 80s Oxford.....
  22. BJ arguing that the Lords can't debate the issue because the WA was part of the Tories election manifesto, we really are through the looking glass.
  23. I've always found that a weak argument, if he can't reproduce it on a match day it's irrelevant.
