  1. When they'll pursue their plan to expand the top flight to 14 clubs - for fairness sake!
  2. Interesting (or maybe not) to note from the DR article in the original post (March 17) that successful businesswoman Anne Budge was already threatening legal action to avoid relegation.
  3. Yeah but that was to save Hibs after your then chairman Wallace Mercer tried to buy them - relegation was suspended in order to save Hibs at that point when it seemed certain they would get relegated - that we subsequently went on a run of form to snatch bottom place is irrelevant apart from the LoLzzzz. I would still be happy for a 14 team top flight but it took successful businesswoman Anne Budge too long to realize that she just couldn't just bulldoze diddy clubs like us into a temporary reconstruction with no concessions - with us re-signing players and making offers to others it's kinda late in the day to vote for reconstruction, and the reduced budget that will accompany this.
  4. I know promotion for ICT at this late stage would be a bit of a poisoned chalice but you've surely got to want it?
  5. You don't get it, we wanted a 14 team top flight all along - just not for one season. It's successful businesswoman Budge/Hertz that have given ground and lost their "anonymous benefactor's" money in the process - and there's no guarantee it'll get passed! Spin till yer dizzy! !
  6. It's not about the money, that's incidental, it's about the unfairness...
  7. I'd imagine that'd be another one of the problems for Saints as we've already made offers based on a 12 team top flight and anything that might chip away at that budget would be unpalatable. I reckon Aberdeen won't be too keen and that'd only leave 1 more top flight team to be against & with Livi saying it was too late to reconsider changes for next season I reckon it's a gonner - pity really.
  8. We always wanted a "permanent" 14 team top flight - it's all a matter of guarantees. I still think Hearts could've had a 14 team top flight back in April if successful businesswoman Anne Budge hadn't been so convinced of her ability to bounce us into a 1 season deal and it's only cost her/Hearts their "anonymous philanthropist backer's" £3M. If it happens I'm sure it'll be spun into a Budge/Hertz victory...
  9. What happens when the guy in the middle wants to go to the toilet - or at half time when there's invariably a rush to empty the pre-match drinks.
  10. If you're including St. Mirren as one of the smaller clubs then no, we're not. Indeed! https://www.footballwebpages.co.uk/st-mirren/attendances
  11. I've never been too fussed about strips as long as they're basically black&white, I'd be quite happy with the T-shirt below which sums up our character... ...I realize my yin-yang favourite is not universally loved.
  12. I thought humidity was a more important factor with dry conditions being better when it comes to reducing spread of the virus - however a quick Google shows there are about as many opinions as there are scientists.
  13. Like I said to a degree this is a matter of opinion but I still don't reckon selection for the national team isn't a level playing field - what did Lewis Morgan do to deserve his call-up beyond moving a dozen miles down the road?
  14. Based to a large degree on OF players being picked for the national team based on hype rather than form/talent, I suppose it all depends where your coming from but I doubt you'll find many supporters of diddy clubs who disagree with me.
  15. I thought the narrative being pursued by the posters I quoted was that the issue of whether the McCann's administered drugs to their children was contemporaneous or a more recent internet invention - I have no opinion on the exact circumstances of Madeleine's disappearance but I note that the effective test period for opiates in hair samples is 3 months while the Daily Mail article was printed 5 months later in October.
  16. Stirring it a bit but what do you guys think about the current Colt teams proposal, wouldya want them admitted so you could avoid relegation?
  17. No, I've tried asking. The answers if any usually involve "IIRC". It was an issue at the time https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-488467/McCanns-We-prove-didnt-sedate-children.html
  18. I would keep Jack if only because he's the only person on my 17/18 Championship Winners mug still (tenuously) at the club.
  19. First thoughts are is this separate to or in addition the Budge 5 year plan?
