  1. Richie lives to fight another day....
  2. You got relegated because successful businesswoman Anne Budge was too arrogant to ask nicely!
  3. According to BBCs The Nine it's "less than ideal" to be without all three keepers - Understatement of the Year!
  4. SPFL obviously don't want to set a precedent that would put the chances of all the teams completing a 38 game season but FFS! Just have to put our faith in the old swings & roundabouts cliche!
  5. Word is signing a contract they fully intended to break.
  6. Shetland. If they don't want us, I don't want them, what do they want though - UDI, to be with England, but throwing a curveball if I was them I'd throw in my lot with Norway!
  7. I think some managers have a feeling that any big CF can be used as a "bulldozing target man" - we seemed to make the same mistake with Stephan Bahoken who was not interested in chasing after 50/50 balls during his spell with us.
  8. I reckon Gavin Galloway is a bit unfair too - he often makes Saints All Time Worst Teams but he came through our youth set-up and gained age group caps for Scotland and was touted as our next big player when he was introduced as an 18/19-y-o to a mediocre first team roundabout the end of the Jimmy Bone era. Like I say he struggled in a mediocre team got a bit of stick and never made it back, now I know 90-odd% of young players don't make the grade but who knows if he could have been introduced in better circumstances.
  9. That's a rather camp Hitler... reminds me of Jojo Rabbit!
  10. I find it hard to see the Tories giving her a high profile in next year's election - I can't see her "just an ordinary person" routine impressing many folk after the events of the last year. That would just leave Ross appealing to the "staunch" vote.
  11. Played in some f'kin awful Saints sides but was a regular in our Championship winning side and the Great Escape Mk II in the Premiership the following season - word of warning, he seemed to have the same flaws at 23 when he was loaned out as when he was 20/21. Great servant to St Mirren and I wish him all the best.
  12. The fear of further "Branch Office" accusations is obviously all that is keeping Keir Starmer from delivering the coup de grace to RL - but Rachel Reeves wouldn't have spoken on the issue without clearance from above.
  13. Yup anyone still thinking the EU are gonna be the ones to cave in at the last minute on the Trade Deal need only look back to the Withdrawal Agreement when BJ shafted the DUP to make a deal that only a couple of weeks before he said no Tory PM could countenance and pretty much the one TM had knocked back when he was her Foreign Secretary. Never mind I read TMs charging £100k a speech these days, in a few years Boris will be absolutely raking it in while we'll be. erm raking the bins!
  14. Apparently Hearts beat us 2-1 today in a friendly. Just think if they could only have done this in March - Karma!
  15. NS clearly thinks Leonard is a dead man walking from her response to him at FMQs. Meanwhile RD got a proper slapdown from NS about trying to take the highground on electoral accountability whilst preparing to move to the HoL. ********************* Down at Westminster Mr. Mumbles must be longing for the return of his backbenchers to obscure the weakness of his performances in contrast to Keir Starmer. Got a bit personal today with BJ saying Starmer serving in Corbyn's Shadow Cabinet marked him out as an IRA supporter - I expect we'll hear that one again!
  16. I may be in a minority of one but I think it's shame Gorgeous George flipped from being an eccentric that could be contained within the umbrella of the Labour Party, a lot of what he said about Iraq was essentially correct and his work with War on Want is still relevant today (possibly even more so), into being a nutter.
  17. The theory AFAIK is that masks are being placed in and taken out of bags/pockets and overuse of the same mask may be counterproductive if you come into contact with someone who has the virus. I use a dust-mask at work and change it daily and the same with the single use masks I have bought for the virus - I was just speculating on how many people will use a single use mask for say a week.
  18. 1. What type of mask do you wear? Cloth/fabric Single use surgical A bit off-topic but how many people use Single Use masks once only and how often do people people wash their cloth coverings daily?
  19. Is it surprising that an employee of Fox (Murdoch) is stoking the fires that might lead to a Trump re-election.
  20. This, I think the Faragey wing of the Tory party would find a Starmer led coalition backed by 50+ SNP MPs impossible to accept - although I would expect IndyRef2 to be an essential for a Labour/SNP coalition to be reached so it's probably academic.
