  1. Prob'ly missing the point but the tattooed gal is a wid for a hot sweaty night, altho with my luck I'd end up with the bloke on the left.
  2. Did a brief look elsewhere and limescale in the water was another suggestion - but yeah dirt stew may be yummy for some dogs.. For the pedants, yeah I know Scotland water is "soft" and low on limewater.
  3. No Wilma's (my partners name) registered since 1973. Curse you Fred Flintstone!
  4. Apparently been pulled from twitter, as the old saying goes "hater's gotta hate"!
  5. Obviously I'm biased but I think this is the most interesting game of weekend so look forward to it being the last game shown on Sportscene.
  6. Maybe warmer if the puddles sitting in the sun - but yeah, temperature sounds plausible.
  7. I'm not really a competitive person, although I do tend to look out for @Arch Stantons score as we were in a pub quiz team before I moved south for work reasons but that was in the last millennia, roughly a thousand years ago. FWIW me & Arch & I are all eaksy-peaksy! ************** I do have an almost encyclopedic knowledge of 60s pop culture, Arch will recall the two butch lesbians who tried to pick us up in a Glasgow pub upon overhearing my question about the three actors to portray Bond prior to Connery (on the way home from the 2017 CC Cup Final loss to Dundee Utd).
  8. Sorry if this has been answered before but do any of P&Bs dog whisperers know why my dog will routinely ignore the water in his bowl and drink from the small puddles that form in the back garden? Thanks!
  9. Exactly, trashing Giuffre's reputation isn't going to make PA look any better, my opinion is he's hoping Chuckles will pay him not to "write" his truth. Considering how badly he handled the gentle lobs from Emily Maitless It'd be funny to watch him having to sell his book facing even moderately hard questioning.
  10. Same thing has been happening to Agatha Christie novels since 1920. Agatha Christie novels reworked to remove potentially offensive language | Agatha Christie | The Guardian
  11. What I found funny was the similarity between Stephen Hammond's comment and Senator Pat Geary from Godfather 2
  12. Agreed stings like this just show the "keeps us in touch with the world at large" argument for the bullshit it really is. I'm sure there are ways for MPs to keep in touch without trousering £10k per day.
  13. I see reports that PAs considering writing a book in order to "restore his reputation". Given the car crash interview that started this thread probably not a wise move.
  14. I note GB News lost £30M in their first year, their backers probably think it's worth it to keep Labour in step with the ever rightwards march of the Tories.
  15. Yeah but the game only lasts a coupla hours, what are you gonna do for the rest of the week - talk to your family?
  16. I often boo even when I know the decision is correct in the hope that it'll make the ref give a "compensatory" bad decision in our favour - IMO it has occasionally worked.
  17. Stream of consciousness - a style or technique of writing that tries to capture the natural flow of a character's extended thought process, often by incorporating sensory impressions, incomplete ideas, unusual syntax, and rough grammar. *********** I prefer to think of him as Saints' own James Joyce.
  18. Sorry to disagree with you but the Gus MacPherson season was won at a canter (sealed by Billy Mehmet IIRC)! St Mirren table(s) on 2006-04-20 (fitbastats.com)
  19. Cabinet Secretary Simon Case denied telling BJ Covid rules were always followed yesterday. ********* I was gobsmacked at the intensity of the questions from 3 of the Tory members on the committee, likely on Sunak's approval. I still don't think BJ'll get the 10 day suspension with the potential to trigger a by-election but I reckon he'll get some sorta reprimand and he'll bow out as gracelessly as possible in order to concentrate on the after-dinner circuit, especially after yesterday's Brexit vote. Much as I would love to see our modern day Cincinnattus being turfed out publicly at the next GE I don't think it'll happen now.
