  1. We're only 3 points ahead of you however we've shown quite a lot of resilience this season and I reckon most of our fans are looking at maintaining our current place rather than downwards to the bottom two slots (famous last words). Only three points but @elvis excluded a different attitude. FWIW my prediction 11th Well/Killie 12th County
  2. We are better, more resilient this season than previously but we should be now that we're all grown up and budgeting for seventh which means I'm looking to do do better than before which tbf after a poor LC we are doing.
  3. In the cold light of Saturday morning 1 point from 6 is probably what most people were expecting Saints to get from this double header and that's all that really matters.
  4. Always felt that would be a good run-out song or after we score.
  5. Technically it's been given to his "office" but he can draw a salary from this donation much like Theresa May does with her extra-parliamentary donations. Kinda ties in with the story that his decision not to formally enter the race against Sunak being about with protecting his earning potential.
  6. I for one find gloomy old Eeyore a comforting constant in a worrisome world.
  7. My take on it Tier 1 The OF Tier 2 Aberdeen, Hibs, Hearts Tier 3 F/T Teams - Rest of the Premiership, Championship (apart from Arbroath), Lg.1 Dunfermline, Falkirk QotS (?) Tier 4 P/T teams ****************** The is obviously some sorta ranking within the tiers, but working it out precisely is best left to maniacs. Usually there is 1 P/T overperforming and above the worst managed F/T teams. Some Dundee Utd. fans think they should be in Tier 2 but I'd place them in Tier 3. Of the Tier 3 clubs the Fakes have been the most successful this millennium, it is for this and the.fact that they try to steal our nickname that I hates them!
  8. Grant Schapps cutting BJ out of this picture on his Twitter account.
  9. In the internet age physical proximity is getting less important, I consider the Fakes, Livi & Killie as bigger rivals than yourself (Falkirk & ICT a decade ago), altho if you can manage to haul yourself into the top division we can see about remedying this. Funny (peculiar) situation regarding Thistle, I have a few mates who support them from my college daze and look for their result first in the Championship but we haven't played them all that often over the last 20ish years as we tend to synchronize yo-yoing in opposite directions.
  10. That is a significant point - in the two recent seasons we've turned things around it was mid-February before results improved.
  11. Yeah similar experience last month, but I'll take my mask to-morrow just to avoid any unpleasantness.
  12. Noticed more people wearing them at the supermarket, mostly OAPs so probably a sensible precaution. I've an appointment at the opticians tomorrow and will take along one to wear if asked.
  13. Prince Harry had a ‘frostbitten penis’ at Kate and Will’s wedding
  14. Nowhere, it's a foolish challenge and a red card every day of the week in 2023. Similar to the Pitmann challenge in the Livi game against us - red card after VAR but they were arguing Pitmann's momentum took him into the collision with Baccus and where else could he go. They appealed and lost, out of interest does anyone know how many appeals result in overturning the "original" decision?
  15. Pretty much the same argument used by Livi fans over the Pittman red card, seeing it on TV I can't see why anyone would expect anything different - guess players are going to have to be more careful now. Pretty sure it wouldn't have been a red card back in 86.
  16. Exposes the myth that the RF "never complain, never explain" they don't need to with their army of minions. As an aside is their anyone 'Arry asn't offended with this book? Maybe he's a secret republican.
  17. Never bothered me about Hertz fans holding a grudge (altho most of the trolling on this thread has come from us) that's part of what being a fan is - cherishing the memories good and bad. What always pissed me off was Oldco fans weighing into the debate always with the allegation that we were mini-Tims. Hoping for a tear-stained aftermath like in our previous games...
  18. Our new Supreme Leader Keith Lasley seems to be extremely competent I'm sure it'll be taken care of, unless KL Is being held in a broom cupboard by Stewart Gilmour & sundry Kibblesters.
  19. We have to make an offer to EE otherwise he is free to leave, I'm sure it was Dundee (points finger and laughs) who made this mistake a few seasons ago but am willing to be corrected.
  20. Not "all us Saints fans" after what happened to Campbell Money earlier that season, that iteration of Hertz were a right dirty lot - no sympathy from me. Anyway back to the preset day we haven't played them so far this season and our league position come Friday night will be a truer indication of how good we are this season. After a slow start Robinson has put together a team with resilience and if we play to the top end of our potential reckon we can match Hertz over the two games.
