This is trueish. Teams around us are certainly bringing in players who I've heard of who granted maybe aren't getting games but strength in numbers at least. We seem to be still stuck with a defence that is horrendous and only offer seems to be on the table so far is a striker. Again it is what it is but with Luton lad away we are down another defender and injuries n so on as it is. Time certainly ticking and I don't believe it's because our good scouting system is waiting for the perfect player either

I would agree in the championship he did decent and was a threat against part time / full time teams but in the top flight it took under 2 minutes for him to be found out in the top flight. If we were to get relegated I'd be okay with him in the championship but no way I want him as a starting player in this league. Again our position in the league isn't a shock to anyone with this defence we have.

Surprised you read my post this time One presumes you were on about Mulligan. If you were on about Kerr and Elliot then for me I'd like Elliot to be let go and Kerr I'd like for another player to be brought in and Kerr to fight for his position. Do I believe this defence is going to be good enough to keep us up? With injuries and with what we have i don't believe so. Merely my opinion. I'd even take Paul Mcginn from hibs if he was to not get a game for them....

Agreed. However if doing well and we are struggling in that position then surely be worth a shot ? If we get a right back in then yeah keep him at Peterhead for rest of the season but am I happy with Elliot and Kerr as our right backs? Absolutely not. We need new defenders in. New contract for Ashcroft I think is mental but I believe he is a decent/ okay championship player.
