Courier says Ryan Wallace will sign for East Fife after the clubs agreed a 4 figure fee.

Don’t like people mocking Berwick.This could happen to any of us.

Article in the Courier with Darren Young stating that Darvel Juniors had made Daryll Meggatt a fantastic offer which had blown East Fife out of the water.

Completely agree. If we were average at corners at both ends of the park we would have a lot more points.This has to be sorted next season and I think it can only be done with different players.

Think it’s delusional to blame it all on Higgins.No area of the team is performing.The pile up of games and the travelling have taken their toll.However it is very concerning that we’re going into next season with so many players who have been poor for weeks.We need to sign 3 or 4 quality players preferably a big centre back and another goal scorer.

Don’t know if the team has run out of steam but that was woeful today.Montrose were well organised and worked harder than East Fife.They won every second ball and though limited deserved their win.East Fife were sloppy from the start and very few players got pass marks.I don’t blame the manager the players let everybody down today.They are so much better than this,there was enough on the park to win the game.

Can we stop slagging off lifelong fans whose passion leads them to shout daft remarks we’ve all done it.

Most astonishing turnaround I’ve seen in all my years of watching East Fife.I believe most fans including me wanted Darren Young out.I will say he handled the criticism flung at him very well. still believe he would have lost his job at most clubs.He now has his own players in and got rid of some fans favourites.Frankly that is as good an East Fife team as I’ve seen for years and Darren Young and his back room team with the players deserve all the credit.

A close game but you can’t beat a late winner.The strength from the bench is making a big difference.Agree Dunsmore can feel hard done by but Dowds created the winning goal.Like most fans I’ve been critical of Darren Young but he has us now looking like a team.Today was important to build on previous good results.

The goals conceded were identical to the Falkirk first goal last week.It is not good enough that we cannot defend corners in our box and cannot offer any threat from our corners.The manager really needs to sort this out.It is killing the team.Once Smith went off we showed very little going forward and never looked like scoring.Scott McBride is not a central striker and the initial substitutions didn’t work .Thought Liam Watt offered a lot more when he came on.

Decent East Fife performance but 2 terrible goals knocked everyone’s confidence.free header from a corner and awful pass back.If we can keep Kevin Smith fit he will make a big difference this season.Also think Craig Watson looks a lot fitter this year.In my opinion Court has to show a bit more if he wants to be a regular starter.

Surely that’s what the manager is paid for.

Shambles of a first half with 5 trialists starting and the defence wide open and keeper unconvincing.At least looked like a football team the second half when Davidson came on and Watson reverted to centre back.Lots of scrambles in the Queens box but again couldn't score. For

Chris Duggan was really the only open play scorer for East Fife who would have been in big trouble without him.He is a good all round striker.If he had genuine pace he would be at a level above Raith.

Signings have been more than decent so far but in the end you are only as good as your strikers.We’ ve lost our only goal scorer and had little contribution from the rest last season.Difficult when everybody wants proven scorers and others may be able to offer more.

We seem to be turning into a combination of Alloa and Albion Rovers.The manager seems to be bringing in players he knows and trusts which he is entitled to do.No excuses if it doesn’t work.

Disturbing that so many good people - staff and players are leaving the club.

The Rovers games are worth far more than£10,000 to East Fife.Over 1400 extra fans and over 100 in hospitality at each game is significant.How much is available to the Manager’ s budget is another matter.The club definitely need to get some good news out to the supporters after a dismal season.

Think the club really need to get some positive news out.At the moment there is a mixture of apathy and disillusionment among supporters.T o lose fans of 30 + years standing should be troubling.While the league position isn’t disastrous some of the results and performances have been disgraceful.Im afraid Darren Young does not come over particularly well.The team spirit built up under Gary Naysmith is no longer apparent.The current board saved East Fife and put their own finances to keep East Fife alive. Achieving a championship winning season along with Gary Naysmith was an incredible feat.However there is no doubt that the current situation is unacceptable.We need to hear from the club or the manager what the plans are to fix things otherwise I’m afraid it will be a hard sell to get older fans to buy season tickets.

It is becoming a real concern the failure to score.Unless East Fife find more potential goal scorers things could go very wrong.The amount of corners we have without a goal threat is beyond belief as is the amount of crosses put in the box with no East Fife striker going for the ball.There were a few signs of discontent from fans today.

The last 2 results are colouring opinions but I don't believe whether a manager is quiet or bawls and shouts on the touch line makes much difference.Yes the ability to change things is important but a few well chosen words can have more effect than screaming from the sidelines for 90 minutes.Darren Young will ultimately be judged on results based on his team selections and tactics.Frankly the attitude against Raith was such that the tactics became irrelevant.

Thought we were very poor with the ball first half and couldn't string 2 passes together albeit against a superior side.A big improvement in the second half when Willis was switched inside .He wasn't everyone's favourite last time but has played very well so far.At least we created chances in this game but even when Wilkie and Smith return still feel we need more goal scorers in the team.

Pre season friendly results should be treated with some caution but a 4 -1 defeat to second division Stirling following a loss to Spartans is a cause for concern.Frankly the squad is weak and requires some experienced signings.Darren Young really needs to get a move on or we are facing a very difficult season.

Current squad needs 4 or 5 players who will be first team regulars rather than squad members.At the moment we look short of what will be needed.A test for Darren Young who is playing catch up through no fault of his own.
