Peterhead were far too physically strong for East Fife who were absolutely woeful.Don’t think you can play Swanson and Agnew together,far too lightweight.East Fife need to strengthen for what will be a difficult league next season.

Both teams looked knackered.Summed up by Craig Watson who was outstanding then gifts a goal.No surprise that East Fife goals came from a right wing back and a centre back.A rebuild needed particularly up front or next season will be a struggle.

There was no lack of effort but the team on the park was unlikely to score far less get a result.Ultimately we suffered by not getting an adequate replacement for Jack Hamilton.

Didn’t’ start well though terrible miss didn’t help.Deserved win overall ,Peterhead keeper was outstanding while Long hardly had a decent save to make.Thought East Fife players battled for a result without being at their best.Peterhead should stay well clear of relegation playoffs.

Totally right.Bizarre system from the manager in the first half,almost a 4 - 2 - 4..Slaughtered in midfield where only Davidson competed.

Draw was fair but the refereeing performance in the last 15 minutes was totally unacceptable.Roncone has never been a ref who you can have confidence in but today was a new low for him. Cove are strong well organised side who should be top four.A hard fought match but players dropping like flies late on is a sign of how ridiculous the next few weeks are.

That was a great 3 points considering we hadn’t even picked up a point away from home.No one knows what to expect and getting points on the board early is vital.Credit to Darren Young and the players but I was surprised how poor Clyde were.

Good luck to Gary Naysmith.Job he did at East Fife with the Board verged on incredible.Inherited a debt ridden shambles and won a title with a budget nowhere near the highest in the league. Edinburgh City have got themselves a hard working manager who will lift the club to a higher level of professionalism.

Totally against this.It would be the end of an independent identifiable club.For example, a link with Hibs might give you 5 or 6 players from them.Why bother supporting your own club,you would be as well supporting Hibs.

East Fife should have won by more,some great chances missed but a big improvement and the change of system worked well.Extra man in midfield denied Airdrie space.Wallace and Hamilton starting to form a good partnership.Airdrie were very disappointing.

East Fife played as if they were beaten before a ball was kicked.We are a soft touch and very few players came out of that with credit.There are too many players in their comfort zone and it needs a shake up.Perhaps we should have dealt with the obvious weaknesses in the team over the close season.

Thought The East Fife players really dug in after the equaliser and should have finished the game off .today was all about the result and team was more like itself.Impossible from the stream to see whether there were fouls for the 2 disallowed goals.Sound problems apart the stream and picture was the best so far.

East Fife had more chances but Montrose were the smoother and more organised side.Big improvement in East Fife once Ross Davidson was moved into centre midfield.Far too light weight before that.Dont know what East Fife have done to upset referees but in all 3 competitive games the big decisions have gone against them.

Referee was awful but still a long way better than that East Fife performance.Far too soft in midfield and a lack of pace at the back.Only 1 game but that so poor as to be alarming.

Was never a great fan of Donald Findlay but he made a complete mess of Levein and English.Lesson is don’t get into a debate with a QC.

Think Murdoch is our best right back by far.At the moment this is bald men arguing over a comb. Real question is whether there will be any football in league 1 and 2 next season.The best placed lower league clubs are those without any players under contract.Others will run out of money quickly and need subsidies even to exist on care and maintenance basis .

Clubs may survive but if you are a decent player and the club does that you sure as hell aren't going to sign for them again when they want you back... If there is no football this year,which is more than possible,how do you expect them to pay players with no income.Just about every club will do this.If and when we get through this players will still have to accept wage cuts.

If the Govt stops the job retention scheme in June,having players under contract will b put the club at greater financial risk.Being punished for forward planning but clubs where all the players are out of contract will be better placed to survive.No one is going to be signing players just now.Presume clubs will use the supposed get out clause in contracts to enable them to survive.

Have no problem with Raith being awarded the league but the Chairman comes over as a bumbling ham.He better hope Raith are not in the same leajgue as Hearts ,Dundee or Falkirk.There must be someone more competent at the Rovers to speak for the club.

If the existing board had followed this policy after the previous board’s fiasco,there currently wouldn’t be an East Fife.Their substantial financial input and the sale of land saved the club.It seems a bit much not to back them now .

The final score line bears no relation to the game.Stranraer should have scored early on but gave up too many chances to East Fife.At 4 -0 East Fife must have missed 4 or 5 great chances ,then proceeded to gift 2 goals in 30 seconds to Stranraer.Chris Higgins has been outstanding this season and had a good game today but the 2nd goal was ridiculous..Fear for Stranraer,they are just a bit short at both ends of the park. Can’t say they aren’t playing for the manager though.

Peterhead had some decent spells of play but other than Longs save from Lyle created very little.East Fife missed a series of great chances which made it more nervy than it needed to be.Pleased for Ross Dunlop who was rock solid after his mistake against Dumbarton.

Think Wallace and Agnew are our 2 best footballers.Find Anton Dowds being left out a strange one.Sure opposing teams are pleased with that decision.
