  1. Played two up front against Stenny and East Fife in a 4-4-2. Played a back three against Albion Rovers at home. That's a plan B AND a plan C.
  2. Not sure I agree with that. Jim has generally been good on the park for us this season. I think there is a potential issue with him fulfilling the dual roles effectively - his form has shaded since he took on the manager's role - but it's too early to be certain of that IMO.
  3. Complete rubbish. He's already used a number of different formations. We are going through a bad spell, but we have a good squad and I expect us to make the play offs.
  4. I thought Raonic looked like a player who is pretty close to breaking through with a Slam win today. Match could have easily gone his way. It didn't because Murray has improved this year and plays like a genuine champion when the chips are down. Hope Djoker beats Nishikori. A final match up with the title and number 1 at stake is mouthwatering.
  5. The Argentinians are so physical though.
  6. Indeed. Great wee player and a true leader.
  7. Poor and arrogant decision by the FAs. Disappointed in the SFA lining itself up with the deplorable FA.
  8. Delighted for Sagan. What a talent. Cracking race as well. Degenkolb losing the plot in frustration at the Belgian slowing the chase up! [emoji1]
  9. Some performance. Good women's road race yesterday. Close finish with Lizzie Deignan just missing the podium.
  10. How is Michael Doyle doing? Well, I'm assuming given recent results.
  11. Yeah, that's normally what happens. I quite like that we keep Paddy on. Knows the club and the players at this level. I wonder if the club insists on it? Jack Ross did bring in his appointment too.
  12. Yeah, I'm sure that was key in Jack's decision. Clearly very disappointed Jack's away. He's been very impressive for us. He's left us with a good squad; a bit over reliant on Greg up front, but otherwise strong and balanced. Mike has a good track record of managerial appointments IMO, so I think we can rely on him to get a decent replacement in. I suspect he'll go down the young hungry manager route, an ex-high profile player a la Hartley and Ross given the success of those two. Waters is the player I can see him taking, but not until the end of the season.
  13. Ben was never the quickest, but I'd take him over just about any, if not all, quicker centre halves in the division. And also the Championship. The guy is a winner and a true leader. Welcome home, Ben.
  14. Yeah, I liked that. It's been a cracking Vuelta with the battle between the top two, the involvement of Chavez, Contador and Yates etc. Contador's response to the question would he come back to try and win the Vuelta of "The Tour, the Tour" was interesting.
