It's difficult to see us getting as many goals as we did last season, it was exceptional in that respect. That's not to say we can't do as well overall in the league. The target has to be playoffs and from there anything can happen, as we saw last season.

I don't think he did. The crash had already happened. His elbow comes up after that; I'm not sure it even touched Cav.

Couldn't agree more. As Boardman says, they have based it on the consequences (the crash) rather than what Sagan actually did. Preposterous.

Sagan oozing class to win yesterday. Even had time to reclip after his foot came out of the pedal at the start of the sprint.

Grant is a different type of player to Jordan (who isn't). Can't see him getting anything like the same number of goals. However, if he is truly recovered from his illnesses then I think he may well do a job for us. Apparently his deadball delivery is first class. I enjoyed the interview with Jim G. The only thing that didn't convince me was his argument that Holmer was moved on to freshen the place up.

I used to not be too bothered when Rangers, RIP, played in Europe. You know, if they won it helped the coefficient and gave the English media something to think about and if they lost it was funny seeing the pain. Now nothing would be as funny as seeing Pedro's mercenaries papped out early doors by a team from a place about 1% of their fans have heard of.

Surprising that we've signed Thomas Grant, and I think Waspie has summed up the logic. I know he was highly rated at Falkirk and he certainly has ability. Of course it's about luch more than that. I think if we can get him involved high up the park then he will do OK.
