Certainly when Hartley was at Alloa the dressing room seemed to be a strong one and the players really played for him - of course that's a different situation to clubs like Dundee and Falkirk. I encountered the man a few times during his Alloa tenure and he was certainly a bit different. Clearly not the most open person and not comfortable with social chat. At times he was a bit scary. Definitely has a charisma about him.
Leaving Greig out of the first leg was a reasonable decision at the time IMO. Remember that he was also left out for the previous game up there when we beat them and played very well.
You could also argue that the rest or being left out was a big reason in Spence getting a hat-trick in the second leg. [emoji6]
I think losing four goals over the two games was a bigger factor in us not winning promition.
Agree with most of this. On whether the g&s bigot 'can' make the offer, what is there genuinely to stop him? Not saying I think he will - that remains to be seen. I expect he'll find himself back in court.
