  1. Indeed. They seem a bit obsessed with shitebaggery and cowardice. A very odd bunch. Sent from my SM-G920F using Pie and Bovril mobile app
  2. Didn't read it, mate. Life's too short. Sent from my SM-G920F using Pie and Bovril mobile app
  3. Great effort from everyone involved to get to the final. Sent from my SM-G920F using Pie and Bovril mobile app
  4. Is it safe to come back? Have the big bad Livi fans gone away? Sent from my SM-G920F using Pie and Bovril mobile app
  5. You're missing the point, mate. My comments haven't been about whether I think Adam is a good or bad signing - for what I've heard (mainly from the Airdrie fan I mentioned, who rates Adam as a person and footballer) I don't think he'll cut it in the Championship. They have been about the Airdrie fans desperation to label a young player as a 'shitebag' and 'cowardly'. As I said, it says more about you than him. 6. Who knows, but even if he is there won't be a rush from Alloa posters to the next team he signs for's thread to scream about him being a shitebag and coward. We aren't that odd.
  7. Ironically I only know one Airdrie fan and he rates Brown.
  8. I must have been confused into my lazy and stupid statement by the use of the words 'shitebag' (twice) and 'cowardly'.
  9. The Airdrie fans seem obsessed with Adam Brown's hardness rather than his talents as a footballer. Maybe says more about them as a group than anything about Adam? Oh, and welcome back Greig. You flat track bully. [emoji6]
  10. Greig scored four league goals in the Championship last time for us; three of which were against part-time sides. We will be the only part-time team in the Championship next season. His record in league one for us is largely irrelevant as we won't be playing at that level. Interestingly Isaac got three league goals against full-time teams last season. Now of course Greig is a MUCH better footballer and finisher than Isaac, but the point IMO is our strikers next year either need to be capable of scoring consistently at that level or be able to effectively hold the ball up/create for others to finish. Personally I don't think Greig comes into either of those categories. I'd love to be proved wrong.
  11. He must be reading the thread, mate. No one's ever referred to the 'spine' of a team before. [emoji6]
  12. A fit Daryll with the same hunger, attitude and mobility as he had during his first spell, then definitely. That Daryll has nothing to prove about his ability to cut it at Championship level. I think the big question is does that player still exist.
  13. Was a key player in our promotion to the Championship last time and couple of years staying there. As comfortable at left back or centre back. Very strong and good in the air. Very left-footed. If you are getting the player he was with us the first time then you have an excellent, competitive defender. We didn't see enough of him second time to know how close he is now to that player, even before the bad injury he had. I hope and think he'll do well for you.
  14. I would doubt that. Greig isn't good enough for what we will need next season.
  15. I tend to agree he isn't ready yet and therefore there would be an element of gamble if Saint Mirren went with Jim now. However, it concerns me if they are going to include him in the interview process as he will come across very well. He'll likely also be cheaper than e.g. Robbie Nelson.
  16. He's not 'been done' for anything. Yet. Clearly we don't know ALL the facts, although hopefully we will soon. On the face of it the UCI is at fault for the delay in a final decision being taken. They really MUST sort it before the TdeF.
  17. I'll be taking a few extra puffs of Ventolin on this Sunday's ride. Watch out Strava!
  18. I was meant to be working from home today so I could watch the stage, but had to come in. [emoji852]
  19. Good grief! Can Froome actually pull this off? Pity about Yates, but shows how tough it is to win a grand tour. Especially at 25 years old.
