First lengthy cycle since May at 63 miles. Fortunately my two mates towed me home last twenty miles or so.

I can't match Monkman's experience, but I was over last weekend with my missus. Loads to see, we loved it. Eta - The danish girls are stunning.

Going forward is one of Sparky's main strengths. In fact he's better in midfield than at full back IMO. Yes, you should play Cawley. He'll do a job wherever, but I like him through the middle - either up front or attacking midfield.

Went for a Retul bike fit last week. A bit pricey, but it was highly recomended and I enjoyed the experience. They put my saddle up an inch and forward an inch. Only been out once since, so too early to assess if I'm quicker, but I'll see how it goes the next few weeks.

So, three players still to be signed including a first choice centre forward. In terms of depth, that's a strong looking squad. Remains to be seen, of course, how they shape up in quality, but pretty excited to see those players in serious action. Enjoy the weekend btw, mate.

Just watched the first three days after being away for the weekend. Shaping up already to be a fascinating three weeks. Hope Froome has a tough day today and Alberto, Nibs etc eat into his lead a bit. Shame for Fabian, but typical strength and guts to finish yesterday.

Docherty is overrated by Alloa fans generally. Not saying he didn't do well for us, just not as well as getting voted second in the PotY vote - was he really better than Gordon, Simmons, McCord etc?
