  1. Pleased Greig is away. Shows Lennon isn't going to settle for second best. Loads of talent as a finisher, but just didn't cut it in terms of determination or making the most of that talent - when was his last league goal for us? Having said that I really hope he does well wherever he goes. Also good to see decisiveness re the goalies. Best of luck to McDowall in particular, he's been part of the squad these last four years and has been a decent number two. Don't know much about Hamilton.
  2. If I was a Dundee fan I'd be moist at the thought of Hemmings, Loy and Stewart being unleashed together. Young, pacy and hungry strike force.
  3. Thinking of getting a hybrid to complement my road bike. In particular I'm keen on 700 x 32 wheels. So far, and it's early days, I like the look of the Boardman range.
  4. That was a cracking stage. I love when a cyclist gets their first big win, the sheer joy when they finish and realise what they have achieved. Formolo looks a real talent. With him and Aru Italy could have two genuine GC contenders in the Grand Tours for ten years. Yesterday's stage was good too, with Contador and Aru attacking each other on the final climb and Porte the only other one who matched their attacks.
  5. Hope you get decent weather. I did it last year and went too fast at the start, despite promising myself I'd take it easy. Enjoy and let us know how you get on.
  6. Completed the Tour de Yorkshire Ride medium route on Sunday. Bonked with about 8 miles to go and could barely walk up the final steep hill. Had punctured, lost time and didn't refuel at the last feed station with the cut off closing in. Fortunately the run in was largely downhill. I thought the route was just to hilly to be enjoyable. Glad I did it though.
  7. If it's the truth, it's the truth.By definition, you won't understand that. ETA 'prejudicial expression'.
  8. It's the reason they support the club in the first place, they do it primarily (solely in many cases) for self esteem which means they have to buy into and align themselves completely with the bigotry and paranoia. The rules appear clear in this instance. The Hibs 'precedent' is a red herring, but one which has been grabbed as sustenance to feed their self esteem at the moment. It would be sad if it wasn't so pathetic.
  9. ....but the judge will find Talbot guilty of possession of an offensive puss.
  10. Me too. Clearly not the most naturally gifted player in the draw and must have worked especially hard to get where he is.
  11. Even for a The Rangers fan, Bennett is a bit of a brain dead fud, isn't he?
  12. Happy for anyone to win this now, except Trump - the media w**k would be unbearable.
  13. The Mull Historical Society singing Amarillo on Off the Ball with Alex Totten, Tam and Stuart providing backing vocals.
  14. Ding on a 147 but has a brain freeze and plays for position on the blue instead of the black
  15. Hartley had Low on loan at Alloa when we were in the first division for two or three months, so he knows the player.
