  1. I'm led to believe in general, the benefits that go unclaimed towers over any "benefit scrounging" figure. Yet we don't see any adverts or TV shows about benefits you might be due, but plenty on benefit scrounging. Take from that, what you will.
  2. I don't think £96.6 billion is much in comparison to other government pet projects; Trident, PFIs, etc. If other European countries can pay their pensioners, 2 or 3 times what we pay. How do they manage? Another important item. Where does all the state pensions go that aren't claimed, due to death before retiral age? If the OBR told me it was Monday, I would have to check the calendar first to make sure.
  3. Raising the pension age at all, is an insult. The current pension age is too high as it is. I think it's time that old austerity mantra "We're in it together" is put to the test. A full audit of all Westminsters overheads, wages of politicians, etc. I want to see drastic cuts, the type our public services have suffered. No 2nd homes, a budget hotel for politicians. Crapita, Serco and the like should be replaced as there failure is costing us dear. Time for the waste of space and finance that is the House of Lords must go. Lizzie and her royals, should be told, no more handouts. Then move onto dodgy tax practices, offshore tax havens and like. Close them down and recoup what we can. An estimate of £85 billion at last count. I'm sick of these elected idiots ripping the pish out of the public. The time has come to destroy various gravy trains once and for all. If we don't have enough finance for retirement then we don't have enough for the above.
  4. MSM have been completely shown up for what they are regards "terrorist sympathisers", after the Tories got in bed with the DUP. Notice it all went quiet on "terrorist front" after they became bedfellows, and it charged towards "anti semitism" I cannot believe people hoover up this shite from MSM. Corbyn is streets ahead of any Tory MP.
  5. Snivelling, servile, craven doormat of a man. Can't the residents of D&G bin this embarrassment, next time they get a chance? Snakes have more backbone than him.
  6. Tories so consumed by Europe, they have voted this walking omnishambles in. This is definitely a case of "be careful what you wish for" The Tories are so far removed from the reality of Britain, they really think BJ is the answer. I think we are about to witness the Tory Party go into meltdown between now and the end of October. I'm getting the popcorn out. Ffs Scotland get it right and vote ourselves out of this sham Britain, next time. BJ couldn't find his arse with a map.
  7. The laws the EU are due to bring in, regards tax avoidance and state pensions, I reckon are a big reason why they want out, f**k the rest(us). As long as they protect the kingdom of greed, they don't care about casualties. Don't reckon you are too far from the truth in your assumptions. Divide and conquer, alive and well since Roman times and the Tories and their pals have turned it into an art form
  8. I despise banks, after banking crisis we should have took the Iceland approach. We didn't and let them away with it and now they think they have carte blanche to do what they want. If the man on the street perpetrated similar, he would be looking at 10-20 years in jail. We have people at the top of these financial institutions who are criminals and been left to run the shop, its bizarre to say the least. I hate adverts on TV for banks, all trying to kid on to be your pal and drafting in cartoon characters, etc. They are scum and always will be scum. I cannot believe the apathy in the general public that let banking scum away with it and we are still paying the price. What about the RBS business unit, as an example of gross misconduct after the crash. Banking is nothing more than a cartel now, ethically bankrupt and failing consistently the public it should serve.
  9. That would do it, otherwise a hardy shrub. If you didn't know the roots were flooded, it would be difficult to notice, until rot sets in, by then it's too late. Prune it well and you get a great show every year.
  10. Bees, butterflies and birds love a Buddleia https://images.app.goo.gl/9BEg3t2LH9nzt86v6 Bees like Cotoneaster https://images.app.goo.gl/v2KnLWBWaZ2aYo4L7 Lavender, Honeysuckle, Alliums and Foxgloves as well. Bees can see the colour purple clearer than other colours. Best of luck.
  11. Upper Annandale 1 Lesmahagow 4
  12. Get yourself down to the Corra Linn bar, you're obviously hanging out in the wrong places. Spirit measures that make your eyes water. Good food at good prices. Pub quizzes are a great laugh. Paco the owner is a legend. Love Salou.
  13. Funny that, considering the only thing keeping this dugshit union financially above the water right now, is Scottish oil. Tory MPs, voters and enablers should be fired into the Sun forthwith. As an addendum, Stewart is total c**t and devoid of a soul, as all Tories are.
  14. Insipid pish. Midfield is poor, lacks invention, pressing and anticipation. Get Armstrong and McTominay on. Armstrong>McGinn
  15. Are asking for a knee replacement in their 50s. Thigh to calf is well known to cause knee problems later on, if you keep it up.
  16. Simple list for choosing candidates for the job: 1. No Scottish managers, unless its Steve Clarke. 2. Someone who is a proven man manager, who can drive a team on to do better than the some of its parts. It's not rocket science. I don't hold out much hope, under the inept SFA. If it's an uninspiring Scottish appointment, I'm done with it and I doubt I will be the only one.
  17. "God gave all seed baring plants on Earth to you". Apparently it's in the Bible, but not being a God botherer, I will have to take their word on it.
  18. This makes perfect sense but will never happen under the Tories. This is the same party that got a working group full of specialised professors in drugs to investigate the matter. When they came back with their findings, they sacked them as it didn't fit with their thoughts. What a huge waste of money and time, and by the fact they asked these experts to look into it. They admitted they(Tory party) didn't have the expertise. You couldn't make it up. Profit from weed is much less than other drugs, hence why your dealer wants you to take things further. Plus the hassle factor for them is far greater with weed. The ignorance that surrounds weed is astounding from general public and politicians.
  19. 1. Lanark 2. New Cumnock 3. Port Glasgow 4. Airdrie 5. Coatbridge
  20. It's miles from Denver and shrouded in mystery and conspiracy. Took forever to build it and some strange practices regards hiring/laying off construction staff. Used to have some odd and very grim murals inside terminal building. Rumours of an underground military installation there also.
  21. It's in shadow of the big shale bing. The surrounding countryside rivals the moon for desolation. Nearest "big place" is Carnwath, 4 miles away. No shop. Very little public transport, and what there is, takes you to the delights of Lanark. Apart from that, it's fine.
