Todorov is a handful and a much better player than a lot give home credit for, Gall is /was an excellent striker who will still get goals although I think his level is League below now, i actually think he is working his ticket, be it Rhys has already had a chat with him about next season, who knows.. interested to see who we can bring in for next season in forward areas, who has impressed us..
Muirhead, Morton
McCann, Dunfermline
They are 2 that spring to mind that have impressed over the last few seasons. .. thoughts
If you could morph McCann's pace to Muirhead's ability, then you'd have a real player. Muirhead's lack of pace is why he's tumbled down the levels.

I would think we would try and sign the majority, to be fair I am not considering promotion, 3rd has to be our next target.. Niggling injuries are starting to mount up, not much time for recovery now that will cost us big time, if any of our big players are out, Telfer went off with a calf, Ballantyne looked like a thigh injury, Watson went off limping as well as Rhys recovering from his injury, we will habe to really rotate the squad, but the drop off is pretty noticeable in some positions,
The only players I think we will choose to move on at season end will be Gallagher, Dunlop, Cassidy and Fellows whether the rest of the players sign on again , we will have to wait and see because no doubt there will be interest..
Let's hope it is a thigh injury to Ballantyne because if it is a recurrence of his groin then I would imagine that he'd be gone for the season.
I'm also not contemplating promotion as the SPFL have made it so difficult for the 3rd & 4th place sides but I'd love to be proved wrong.

We will have to win the playoffs and go up as it is the only way we will get back into Europe and that is our rightful place now.
Great optimism but calm doon mate.

Baird is a cat with 9 lives. Two games in a row he should have been sent off. Scottish referees are hopeless right enough.
Eh 3, he seemed to stick the head in an Airdrie player last Saturday which started a right set too. Guy has a screw loose!

Seethe abounds as Airdrie fans celebrate avoiding relegation from the championship. Poor @oneteaminglasgow seems particularly perturbed by this!

It was actually decent and it's always good hearing Craig Easton talking about his younger days supporting the diamonds. Both him and Ireland were knowledgeable about the teams in the league which is more than can be said for the regular hosts. I've listened to a couple of previous episodes, usually just when they've got someone decent on as I really struggle listening to them making shit up.
Good lad is Craig and brother Stewart who were regulars on the Albert bus and certainly better behaved than
someall of the other patrons. Clarkston boy's but from Chapelhall stock.2 -

Would’ve bitten arms off if offered Championship safety with 4 matches to play. Absolutely viewing anything else from here as a bonus, but what a season it’s been.
Need McCabe tied down sooner rather than later… but the boy on Twitter from Consilium giving it “we’re just getting started” fills me with a bit of confidence that he won’t be offski just yet.
Rhys mentioned in an earlier interview, that as a club, they were always planning 6 months ahead therefore I have no doubt that he's already been offered a new deal which includes a clause for "X" amount if an offer comes in which hopefully will be beneficial to both parties.
Pretty sure several players will have been offered deals as well although there's obviously more options for them.

Airdrie are by some distance the worst side we’ve faced. In four games McCabe hasn’t worked out how to beat us which is strange as it isn’t exactly rocket science.
Yip, against Ayr we are, but doubling down on your prediction that we would "drop off" has proven to be miles off it.

Ach, we all get it wrong at times!
In fairness to @D'Jaffo I can understand why Ayr fans thought that way.

Kyle Turner changed the game when he came on (love to have him back at Airdrie), bewildering to me how Matthews & Byrne start before him. A job well done for the Diamonds and ultimately deserved, but if Connolly's shot had went in then it could have been different. Fine limits indeed!

Calum Fordyce has a head of granite as well as a tremendous positional sense. Outstanding!

Really see this game as a free hit for us tonight given that we won on Saturday, although a win would be amazing tonight I feel its more of a must win for Raith than us. Would be delighted to take a point and keep the confidence high for Saturday for which could be our biggest game of the season.
If we can come out of this Fife double header with a 3 point gap still intact over Dunfermline then I'll be happy. I'd be delighted if it was 4 and absolutely ecstatic if was 6.
I get what you mean though, if we get beat tonight we get another chance to put it right on Saturday but a bit wary that Dunfermline's run in looks "easier" than ours.

Mate I'm shocked about McGill aswell. When he played earlier in the season, he didn't really put a foot wrong. He's also got a bit of height about him.
Winger wise we've been crying out for an Ethan Ross type player. There's absolutely no pace in the team, which has also hindered. We chop and change most games so get no continuity either. Our big problem is Murray has no clue on our best 11. Unfortunately our midfield are incapable of controlling a game when we play 4 but when we play 5 we are much better that generally means Lewy has to be sacrificed as he can't hold up a ball. Fans get pissed because he's our best player, but unfortunately dropping him may be for the greater good against some teams, he's also a great pair of fresh legs to come on.
The team needs overhauled, there's no denying it. How we are in the position we are in, is astounding considering we haven't played well since we beat Utd at Tannadice. I think it's just a really shitey bunch of teams this year and we have been the better of a bad bunch.
McGill was a strange signing for Raith as Murray used him as a utility player when at Airdrie, he rarely featured as a starter when everyone was fit. He was still young at that point though and gave the ball away far too easily for me but perhaps understandable due to his age. Can only assume Murray seen a lot of improvement in him and he wouldn't be on a huge wage.
Not sure you need "overhauled" though!

Big week (again) coming up Target has to be 4th
Sure is, although the Dunfermline game falls into the must not lose bracket, and possibly a must win depending on what happens at Kirkcaldy. On paper Dunfermline definitely have an "easier" run in than us, if there is such a thing in this league.

“Nice” Airdrieonians - the same group that roundly booed a player whose brother had the audacity to call out alledged racism from your own support. Despicable behaviour.
Yeah mate, his brother's version is no longer "alleged", it was ruled a lie!
Best not go there with the Quitongo's!

Missed the tweet, what was being said?
He was having a right go at the Airdrie Doctor at what appeared to be half time. Despicable character, but obviously us "nice" Airdrieonians have requested the post be removed to save his embarrassment and I would assume he's already apologised.

Wouldn't be surprised if Dougie has fallen foul of the new hate crime legislation.
On to the game and despite Airdrie being miles ahead, I've got to say, perhaps Morton should have played with 10 outfield players. Alan Power, dearie dearie me!
Ah, notice that Dougie's abuse of the Airdrie club Doctor has already been removed from "X".

Well done Clyde and Jordan Allan, would hate to see a club with Clyde's history disappear to the Lowland league.

I see on "X" that Dougie's language at half time is at bit choice and directed at a female. Tut tut, you can take the boy oot o Lanark, blah blah blah. Once a ned!

No, Morton have, but Airdrie tend to be better against it.

So what's today's preferred results then, apart from the obvious win for us?
Arbroath to beat Caley.
Dundee Utd to beat QP.
Raith Rovers to beat Ayr.
Thistle to beat Dunfermline. (Whilst there is a financial benefit for finishing 3rd, it looks unlikely, 4th place got to be the target and to bumper crowds in the play offs, at least).
Of course, such is the league that a defeat could see us in 6th and cries to sack the manager

A lot of talk about additional income and undoubtedly it's welcome, but I'd imagine it would merely reduce debt. Of course we are in a decent position on and off the field but clubs at our level simply don't make a profit and as we all know, our chairman keeps all this very close to his chest.
For example, Dunfermline just posted a £1m loss as of May 23 despite winning League 1 and Falkirk 1.2m, and these are clubs with large fan bases. (I believe the Falkirk fans may have mentioned previously)
