It's clearly Peterhead. Tribunal related to lost earnings compared to what he would have been earning at Airdrie. QoS are not relevant.
Decent part time wage then, even though full time at Airdrie wouldn't exactly be a 40 hour week and i wouldn't imagine he was one of Airdrie's highest paid players.
No wonder Calum Fordyce has to cut hair one day a week!

Why was Stuart Millar involved in the tribunal? Was the Quitongo affair not well after he left?
Fair play to him for his apparent backing of the club though.
Another interesting fact about the Quitongo tribunal was his salary:
Airdrie £375 per week + £25 appearance money.
His new club (Could be QOS or maybe Peterhead) £323.08 per week.
No wonder he had an alleged sideline!

We definitely wouldn’t have conceded our second goal up at Dundee with Currie in goals, he’d never be that far off his line! I’m looking forward to seeing Rae when he’s fully fit, a confident and competent keeper would make a big difference to a team that is very much prone to making daft choices.
Sort of linked to Stuart Millar but I liked the bit where it mentioned the relationship between the agent and Murray was strained because of a player not being selected the previous season. Looking at who else is on that agency I think the player in question is Eoghan Stokes and I’m not sure there was much of an argument for him to play more often.

Snippet 1 - So it was Rhys’s ol man that highlighted the alleged comment. Nothing wrong with that of course but a bit awkward.
Snippet 2 - Quitongo didn’t seem to care for Ian Murray

Are people seriously debating whether Ballantyne deserved that 2nd yellow? It's as blatant as they come, takes the easy option of deliberately stepping towards the Dundee player to stop his run instead of actually turning and going with the runner. He is a total liability, 3 red cards by November is unacceptable (or at least would be in a team where we had an alternative..).
Yip and i'm pretty sure our manager doesn't agree either.

I will stand corrected is there ever been a successful player manager,
Again it's not the point i'm making. I believe that manager's including player/managers are written off far too quickly without being given time to build a squad.

A right family club, agree McCabe is a good player at this level, but as I have learned over the last 60year supporting Airdrie best no get to attached to players or managers, they all seem to depart while yours truly is still here,
True but that goes for every club in the world and absolutely nothing to do with the point i'm making.

You will be right I will be pish as you say, time will tell,
The club chose to go down the young manager route at least we can give him a chance. He hasn't even had a full summer transfer window to work with yet as many decisions were made before his appointment therefore it would xmas 2023 before i would even be reviewing his position.
There is of course the fact that he is also very important experienced player who we wouldn't want to lose. (and his cousin)

I sympathise with Ballantyne, more Jakubiak running into him than the other way around but when you’re on a yellow…..
Like others have said Airdrie impressed today.
One question - how come Bartletts don’t sponsor you, is he not a gazzillionair? They do, to some extent.

Rae coming back soon would be ideal.
I believe that is imminent.

Professional foul as Jakubiak was about to break, yellow card every time. He was on a yellow, he surely knew the risk.
A split second mate, couldn't pull out. You know the feeling!

Airdrie didn't deserve that. Handball by McMullan for the equaliser and never a red card, is Ballantyne just mean't to disappear into thin air?
Anyway, good luck to Dundee in the next round.

I wouldn't be holding my breath however awaiting a statement from the club at this time while the various organisations supporting Quitongo examine the full written judgement and hopefully when it is issued it doesn't refer to "vindication".
While i have been critical of the communication from the club i would totally agree in this instance, silence is the way to go.

Well, a positive result in the eyes of the club.
Wish Rico all the best in the future as there’s nothing wrong with standing up against racism (regardless if you think it never happened).
He’s certainly spread the word that fans should be held accountable for their actions which can only be good news.
Hopefully the club release a statement updating the support and begin to move on from this one.
Will you now be leaving this forum given this is what brought you here? It appears you are disappointed with the outcome.

Good news for the club - and Board - hopefully an end to this.
I’ve read the STV report on it too and neither is giving much away in terms of what was said by the tribunal.
However what we do appear to have is a pile on which seems to ignore that the tribunal decision went against Rico Quitongo. Be nice to see some balance and detail of the judgement itself.

Edited to add this link as actually has some detail: https://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/news/scottish-news/ex-airdrie-star-rico-quitongo-28572606Great news even though the "pile on" is not a surprise. He seen an opportunity to make some money which has now backfired and i doubt anyone one will touch him when his QOS contract ends, career over! Rascals them Quitongo boy's.

Whilst i'm firmly on Gary's side, i would assume this bus is a 1 off, or for big games only.
No excuse though for ignoring fans complaints and no shame either if they quietly quash his ban.

The club dealt with it privately and perhaps the way to try and resolve it was privately.Mmmm, perhaps Gary didn't do the correct thing by publishing the letter but he was obviously livid as Airdrie are a huge part of his life.
So yes, Airdrie should now send him another "private" letter withdrawing his ban and we'll all move on. They don't even need to admit they overreacted.

It's time to move on and let GC serve his ban
That of course is the problem as "Sarah" alluded to in an earlier post. There is "zero chance" of anyone at the club speaking to Gary.

True, but to be fair he is also locked in an expensive legal case because he refused to label us as racists without any evidence.
Mistakes have definitely been made but when people say he has 'contempt' for the fans I can't agree.
He could've saved a lot of time and money if that were the case.
Perhaps but it’s clear from “Sarah’s” posts that it’s now very personal.

Maybe it's the silent majority in support of the establishment....
I'm not talking about just Airdrie fans. Our Chairman received little support from fans of other clubs either once you filtered the usual suspects who think we are all fascist, nazi, racists. The punishment simply does not fit the crime.

The bottom line is there was no need for the punishment handed out in the first instance and all this could have been avoided. Our Chairman hasn't received much support from anyone on this so let's not bow to the woke brigade!

Not great from Airdrie, but a draw at best was all Kelty deserved who were probably just a tad worse than us. No surprise that a bad goalkeeping error decided the points.

We're playing well now just need to be clinical. Draw likely I'd say.
A fee injuries last game in Low & Tidser will hopefully be back. No sign of Fash yet either.
Low & Tidser haven't made it then and still no place for Scott McGill.
