Main will either spend most of his time sitting on his arse with his arms in the air pleading for fouls, or he will be up for it and will be brilliant. His turnaround in attitude and performance for us was a joy to watch.

Handicap has gone from 5 up to 9 over the last two seasons, all down to my putting dropping off a cliff. Target for the year is to get back to around 7. This will involve loads of putting practice inside 6ft.

Elvis is playing an absolute blinder. Win , lose or draw he get's the attention he craves. He must be pissing himself laughing at the amount of replies he generates here and on BAWA. Fair play to him

My biggest gripe is when playing with someone you don't normally play with. They find their ball in the middle of the whins and just pick it up and appear in the semi-rough. "I'll just take a drop... here ok ?" Eh, no. you had 2 club lengths from where your ball was, which would still be in the whins or as far back as you like in line with the flag. "We always just drop one" I honestly don't think they are meaning to cheat but are clearly gaining shots every week. A bounce game is fair enough but not in a counter.

100% this. Who thinks shouting "shiver me timbers" is in any way funny ?

That's what I am playing with and always thought they were very forgiving, but recently I have played with some better players who have suggested something more forgiving. I suppose things have moved on in 10 years
