  1. One of them being that the cuddly clubs can get treated differently. There are plenty of regulations that can be introduced making it slightly harder to get round, all monies invested should be done through shares. I agree. Don't see that being a likely outcome unless it happens at an opportune time window. I agree,I find it strange that the decision making process at the 2nd meeting stage didn't allow those signing their life away to attend and be heard in person.
  2. I want the SFL to take the self-interest out of their rules, put the punishments in black & white so the fans of all clubs know what will happen if they are in pre-admin,admin,insolvent,how much of a bond etc. Introduce wage to turnover ratios etc,to protect teams from nutters, dreamers etc. Where do they relegate an insolvent div 3 team to? If nowhere then that's unfair. The 2 clubs that have been relegated to the 3rd were new clubs in relative terms, what happens when a long established club with loads of history does similar? Will we just relegate them as well risking extinction. Why can't we just dish out a large points deduction giving them a slim chance of avoiding relegation, importantly this gives a club a season to sort their shit out with the highest income possible rather than punishing teams in footballing and financial terms, perverse IMO.
  3. Having a change of mind I now hope LIvi take SFL to the cleaners and perhaps we can all follow teams under the auspices of a fit and proper organisation. FWIW if Livi go to the law courts I think the SFL will get their arse felt.
  4. Rightly or wrongly I'm assuming that Donny was perhaps one of the reasons the 1st meeting was lenient.
  5. Unless of course they weren't technically insolvent after the consortium became involved.
  6. Perhaps that's why the sale was rushed through at 11:30pm,so the consortium could appeal.
  7. Self-interest is not interpreting rules to suit your position it's failing to put in place sanctions b4 the situation arises.
  8. Probably drag it out as long as possible then put in place the deduction necessary to keep them in the 3rd Division. -108 points decreasing by the week.
  9. Getting in the practise in case it's my club next, there are quite a few others who need the practise as well.
  10. And if they're punted they won't fulfil 36 fixtures,that's my point.
  11. It would be a bit strange to punt them when the reason for demoting them was to retain the integrity of Div 1.
  12. I know the points for scrubbing won't be decided or discussed at a SGM.
  13. It doesn't mean you're correct. Livi still under 1st Division banner on SFL website would suggest that they're not sure either. Part of me wants Livi to take this further just to show up the ineptitude of the SFL,for the sake of Livi fans and the integrity and reputation(not worth much IMO) of the league I hope they just take it and get their heads down.
  14. 50 pages of hatred filled semantics. Is there any posters on here who'd stake their lives on Livi's interpretation being wrong in the eyes of the law courts? Anyone who says yes is a fcukwit of the highest order as those who govern under those rules don't even know which interpretation is correct.
  15. It's ok you are only required to submit £500 as quickly as possible,I fancy your chances.
  16. If it can be shown that there is a general principle in the sfl rules that a penalty is suspended until the result of an appeal hearing ( as there is in civil law ) then Livi could argue justifiably that the penalty of demotion should be suspended until the appeal is decided. If the penalty is suspended they are still in the first division and there is no reason for them to play East Stirling The rule I quoted was quite clear in stating that a penalty would be suspended albeit in entirely different circumstances. But if a different situation is unclear as to whether a penalty should be suspended or not it is not unreasonable to look at other areas of the rules to see what happens in different circumstances I think the fact that Longmuir stated last week that Livi then Livi,Airdrie and Cowden wouldn't be asked or expected to play last Saturday should leave something for Livi to argue about.
  17. As in real life Larsson appears to have been a little premmy.
