Clyde have been fantastic so far after the worst possible start. Shooting boots on we should have been be out of sight. *I think I'm falling in love with Oliver McDonald
I enjoyed the game. McDonald and Allan looked like a promising pairing. Feeling a lot better about my team after today's match than I did on Wednesday night.
If you don't want to go, don't go. Do you really need to tell us all? Should I post that I'm going to the match every Saturday? Although I don't really go every week as it can be expensive to go to Peterhead and stuff.
The proof of the pudding will be actual match day attendances For example, I'd be surprised if their league game in November against a team like Gretna had more than a couple of hundred (max) attending. If they get close to a 1000 I'll eat my words
It pisses me off that year after year we treat the league cup as preseason. Why not play our best team and try to win? Repeatedly we see Premier and Championship teams caught cold being turned over by League one and League two teams. If we want to treat one of the two major cup tournaments in Scotland as friendlies then charge us £5 for the privilege and stop moaning about the lack of funding.
Parry is unfortunate to follow some very good goalkeepers at Clyde. Mitchell and Aldo Martin for example. Add in the disappointment of Alloa fans at his departure and their glowing reviews of his performances. Maybe we expect too much of a league one quality goalkeeper.
Hearing that a well known right winger has become available. Fitness is an issue but has an ability to twist and turn. Also has a reputation for scoring away from home.
I remember last preseason when we hammered Airdrie in the Broadwood cup. We looked far superior to an Airdrie squad still being developed. Airdrie finished the season 33 points ahead of us.
