Shire have now scored 20 goals in their last 3 games that one goal every 13.5 minutes!!!!! And Grant, Rodgers and Sludden have all bagged hat tricks.

Disappointed that I'm not going to be there today to see the fat shire rejects. Hopefully we smash them 6-1 shire win
Wtf Ricky Miller ran his heart out when he played for the shire!!!! If your looking for rejects try the fuckers that got us relegated.0 -

Fans are welcome to debate our 30 game record if they wish. It's all about opinions. In the long run it doesn't really matter. The only thing that matters to EK fans is to compete Lowland League title & promotion to League 2.
Before the season started we would have been delighted with 14 wins out of 15 in the league. Here's hoping we can continue this form into the second half of the season.
EK have been on an incredible run but for selfish reasons I hope you now stumble a bit so we can have a winner take all match on April 22nd which would certainly end up with a world record crowd for a lowland league game0 -

Is del banned for league games or will it be for the south challenge cup next season?
Possibly both next week and the next game in the cup. Del was only one booking away from a ban so maybe the next 2 league games.0 -
Andy Rodgers last goal is one of the greatest things I've seen
Del's was well worked goal too0 -

You've reminded me of the John Coughlin tactic of everyone in the box for corners. I've never understood it and am happy to see we now keep at least 2 up and can have the chance of a quick breakaway.
On Saturday we kept 3 up at every corner!0 -
Oh well. Looks like we will just have to keep winning then. . . . .
To be honest it's the Scottish cup that will probably bring your run to an end as you look unbeatable in the league right now.0 -
Hahaha does a Dalbeattie coach shout 'you fat b*****d' when Jamie Barclay makes the save right at the end or am I hearing things? If true then must be on a par with John Coughlin telling Ricky Miller to 'get in that fuckin box' for highlight shouts.
I bet he wishes the so called fat b*****d was in his goals!0 -
I don't think the penalty thing is the vital issue tbh... It's the fact that other lower-level clubs (and indeed at least one other top-tier club) are known to have won more than 26 games in a row. EK passing the world record held by Ajax, at major top-tier level, is taken as EK breaking the world record - making an incorrect assumption no other lower-level club can have done better than 26 over the last 120-odd years of organised football. You only have to go back to last season and Hereford won 27 games in a row, but presumably didn't get all this PR: which is unfortunate for Hereford and the Southern League and good for EK and LL.
Winning 27 games running, pens or not, is great for EK as is the PR but it isn't (yet) a record.
I have done a bit of digging and have yet to beat - with evidence - the 31 consecutive wins registered by Belfast Celtic in 1947-48. So if EK can beat
University of Stirling (A) - EOS Qualifying Cup
Edusport Academy (A) - South Challenge Cup
Civil Service Strollers (H) - LL
Spartans (A) - LL
Stranraer (A) - Scottish Cup
we may be talking a world record.
Just for the record if EK draw with Stranraer but beat them on pens in the replay will that make 32?0 -

Floodlight robbery. Never deserved to win.
Didn't deserve to get beat last week but hey ho that's football!0 -
Can I just say one thing. The record is for consecutive wins. It isn't a record for wins in 90 minutes. It's just simply consecutive victories. The fact the UK media & Ajax have accepted this as a general rule should be the end of the debate.
Must admit I only became aware of this draw today but talk about changing the rules! EK are on a fantastic run but a draw and a win on pens is a draw!!!!0 -

I know, I had to sit and listen to some twat shout c'mon David, go on Paul.
At least that twat took the time to travel down the M74 to offer his team some backing unlike others who went shopping with their bird!0 -
