  1. I was saying this. Dick was all over the place but we had Ross meant to be playing left wing who kept going into the middle. However that's for a manager to see and do something about it immediately, not when we're 3-0 down. Even in the 2nd half we didn't really change how we were playing. It was just more of the same. Absolutely shambolic. We really haven't kicked a ball since October. I look back to the away game at Queen of the South in November and we should have been hammered that day as well. This isn't just a sudden change, it's been a slow and gradual deterioration brought around by a stubborn old manager who can't or won't see what he's doing isn't good enough. He went on and on about needing a goal scorer yet it's clear out issues are at the other end. Time to go John.
  2. Anyone giving it the 'McGlynn deserves the cup final" nonsense needs to get their head out the sand. We were not playing well before this run but getting results. Now we've played 12 and taken 5 points and signed Goodwillie. All of that is down to McGlynn. He's caused this and needs to go. I honestly cannot fathom anyone still sticking up for him any more. He doesn't even acknowledge his own failings. Guaranteed he comes out today and still mentions the missed chances despite us not having a shot on target all game at home. We now have a home goal difference of -1. Any other manager would be sacked and McGlynn should be no different.
  3. I'm sorry but the finishing today wasn't the reason we lost. It was conceding 4 and defending like they'd never met each other before.
  4. Surely to god we didn't put a clause allowing early termination of the loan. We can't be that....oh wait
  5. Did you make the banner today? He signed all 3 strikers at the club before the Goodwillie saga. If there was a problem and a goal famine then that's his making. Don't forget as well that we're the 2nd top scorers in the division.
  6. If the board members didn't take their seats in the Directors Box that's the ultimate cowardly move. If you've made the decision then accept that you need to make it right. Sums up our club at the moment. I genuinely don't even believe they think they made the wrong call and the come down was purely due to the financial impact.
  7. There is no way I'm having it that McGlynn want involved. He had to, at least, sign it off. And remember when he was asked weeks ago he didn't exactly deny it. And if somehow he wasn't involved and was just told Goodwillie was coming in and that's that then that is equally worrying. If you look at his comments when he was signed and then on Tuesday pre match I think it was clear McGlynn was more than happy to have him at the club
  8. McGlynn has 3 strikers, all of whom he signed, and lots of attacking midfielders, all of whom he signed, so he can get to f**k when he moans about not having a goalscorer. This is his team and he should accept the blame for our utter collapse this season.
  9. It's a start and had to happen. Next step is those who made the decision to go. They were warned and still did it. There is no way back for them. As to all the fans, sponsors and amazing volunteers who took a stand......you are all amazing
  10. I'm now angry. The last 48 hours have been upsetting and at the point where I literally right care any more but the Raith TV lads calling it a day that's it. We need to do something. We cannot let it come to this. We need to save our club.
  11. I agree with what you say and it's actually Sim who created us being beholden to him with him appointing Locke who ultimately took us down. It took them a while to acknowledge the mistakes of that and the Barry Smith appointment but under McGlynn and the money Sim had to invest to get us back up it looked like he had changed and we'd turned a corner. Sim is slightly different though in the he has made a lot of investment into the club and has protections in place. He's not the type of guy to therefore just let the club struggle financially as that will hit him. He's also got a lot of investment in similar terms within the Community which would, and now could, suffer as well. If he was someone totally out of the town with nothing else but the football club then we'd be in a completely different situation just now. It might be clinging onto faint hopes but that's all I really have at the moment.
  12. There would be plenty of folk prepared to join the board I think if we somehow managed to get him out the club. However that is pointless unless Sim allows decisions to be made and doesn't have his lapdogs in place as he does just now. For me McGlynn and Smith go, Goodwillie released and Sim takes a step back with a gradual transition to fans ownership along same lines as Hearts have done.
  13. Sturgeon can get to f**k. She's not said a damn thing for years yet now sees political capital out of it. I get she has to answer the question but her answer was as if the civil case happened last week. He's been playing for Clyde for 5 years! Away from that he's got a contract so either he stays for that time or we get rid at some point. The league can do nothing and we can't just go back in time and cancel it. Either way it's going to cost the club a hell of a lot of money but that should lie solely at the feet of John Sim.
  14. Can't wait for the club to come asking fans for money this summer when they can't get any shirt sponsor and season ticket numbers are cut in half.
  15. I was awaiting the statement from the club to see what would happen but that's it. I'll never be back. The club don't give a shit about the fans.
  16. It can't get any worse at least......oh wait What an absolute ridiculous statement. The fact they've had the chance to consider things and then still put that out is beyond belief
  17. How the board and manager could have thought there would be any other reaction that what's happened is absolutely crazy. It's beyond belief. The club is imploding in front of our eyes and still there's no statement. Sad to say but I can only see one outcome here and that's McGlynn leaving and SIM having to meet the cost of ripping up a huge contract. If that doesn't happen I can't see any way back for the club.
  18. I just can't believe it's come to this. What the actual........ The club prepared to lose hundreds of fans and thousands of pounds for what? It's absolutely heartbreaking.
  19. Not sure it's been reported on here but hearing Andy Mill has resigned from the board. No idea if true or related to this though
  20. To be fair the players don't really have a choice about that. They are contracted to play. You can't think that many, if any, will be pleased by this and the unwanted attention it will now put on the club. Again just astonished we have done this.
  21. I just don't get the idea of what benefit the club thought it would give us. The risks associated with this signing are huge as shown by the reaction and the counter argument would be promotion, but after the last 6 weeks that's just not going to happen. Genuinely astonished that the club sought to take the risk here.
  22. If you look over the whole season we've dropped an absolute load of points by conceding in the last 15 when winning games.
  23. That really was awful from us tonight. A game which completely sums up our fall in form
  24. Really poor half. Obviously we are in control and so we should be but we haven't tested the keeper bar that header from Lang which was straight at him. Zanatta has had plenty of the ball but done nothing with it. No need to be playing 1 up top today either.
