They had "community stadium" up on those blue directional signs that went up around the recently completed dual carriageway in the Kelvin/Langlands area, they've now been covered over with tape but at one point the plans must have been concrete enough for them to include the development on these signs. It was the EK Community Trust that were financing this stadium I believe, so not necessarily dependent on the success of EKFC though they'll likely be the main tenants so that would of course help.

Do we think the inevitable TV miniseries on "The Queue" will be a BBC, ITV or Sky production? James Nesbitt to play King Charles, Stephen Graham in there somewhere as a troubled queuer with some sort of moral dilemma about remaining in the queue or heading off somewhere else to potentially save the day.

I'm not sure I could be bothered queuing for 24 hours even if there was the chance to pump Liz Hurley at the end of it.

We've already got photos of Penny in a swimsuit, I think Truss should do the same. Would make politics all the more interesting if Westminster had a swimsuit round.

Really bugs me where a commentator talks about a "93rd minute goal" in a league game. The three minutes of time added on are to bring the game approximately back up to a point where it ends after 90 minutes have been played.

Hope he gets a weekly poetry column in the Daily Mail. There will be a retrial so this will all be rehashed again no doubt, might as well write some new material.
