  1. Neil Critchley sacked by QPR after just 12 games, having replaced Michael Beale who only managed 22 games in total before jumping ship for Rangers. From the BBC website: "They become the fourth Championship club to make a second managerial change this season after Cardiff City, Wigan Athletic and Huddersfield Town. Meanwhile, there have been a total of 18 changes of head coach or manager so far in 2022-23 by the 24 clubs in the second tier." Still three months of the season to go for that number to increase even further. Mental.
  2. After starting last week, he's not even on the bench today. Caciedo straight back into the team, yes he's a very good player but after his very public statement of desire to leave the club then Gilmour must have been hoping for more opportunities ahead of him. Pretty clear he's going to get very limited minutes for the rest of this season, doesn't bode too well for fitness for the forthcoming Scotland qualifiers next month.
  3. Really splashing the cash around just now..
  4. Queens Park can cite the 2019-20 Scottish Cup final that was postponed until December, and Celtic & Hearts will have had significantly different teams than would have played on the original date in May. Easy way out..
  5. Caciedo posted on his Instagram that he wants to leave, seems he didn't turn up for training today and might be dumped out the team - potentially good news for Gilmour. ""I am grateful to Brighton for giving me the chance to come to the Premier League and I feel I have always done my best. I always play football with a smile and with heart. I am proud to be able to bring in a record transfer fee for Brighton which would allow them to reinvest it and help the club continue to be successful. "I am the youngest of 10 siblings from a poor upbringing in Santa Domingo in Ecuador. My dream always to be the most decorated player in the history of Ecuador. "The fans have taken me into their hearts and they will always be in my heart so I hope they can understand why I want to take this magnificent opportunity."
  6. Thanks guys, I'll check out with Greaves and see if they can do it if I take the shirt in.
  7. The wee man got a new Scotland home top for Christmas, he's now wanting to get a player name and number on it. Is there anywhere in or around Glasgow that will do proper authentic printing? It's a very particular font that Adidas have for the numbering just now and he wants to get it just right.
  8. Yep, five points behind both Stirling Uni & Tranent and six behind Spartans. Remaining fixtures are: Edinburgh Uni (A) Celtic B (H) East Stirlingshire (A) Dalbeattie Star (H) Bo'ness (A) Stirling Uni (H) Hearts B (A) Civil Service Strollers (H) Berwick (A) Tranent (H) Cowdenbeath (A) Also a game against Gretna (H). 100% record needed for all these games to even have a chance at being champions and that's incredibly unlikely.. and unlikely to be enough even if they did manage it. Not good enough.
  9. That was the plot of an American Pie sequel.
  10. The league form drop off has been so pronounced, first 12 league games saw 9 wins, 1 draw and 2 defeats (28pts), the last 12 games they've picked up just 15pts. WLWWWWWWDLWWDLLLWWWDWLDL
  11. 1-1 in the end, Spartans now three points ahead after beating Rangers B.
  12. Only took seven minutes to concede tonight
  13. Half time scoreline: Cumbernauld 2-0 EK
  14. Indeed... who needs this Jesus fella, what was he ever good for?
  15. Can we pinpoint the Gabriel Jesus injury as the exact moment that Arsenal's title challenge died?
  16. Will there be a footballer born who can swim faster than a shark?
  17. Quick search on Twitter from during the game: "We need Sarmiento on here, to give us more width on the left hand side. Billy Gilmour has been superb yet again, so calm on the ball. Made some intelligent runs, the only thing he doesn’t do is shoot often! #bhafc" and "Billy Gilmour looks so comfortable on the ball, wand of a left foot."
  18. 4-2 now for EK after a couple of quick goals and that should be that, but with the way the defence has been..
  19. Leaky defence strikes again, raced into a quick 2-0 lead today against Braves but it's now 2-2..
  20. Nope, a 5-4 win in the end for EK. Three points are three points I guess.
