On Dipo to Hibs, he has gone off the boil since the window opened, whither he has had a move knocked back and gone in a bit of a huff, or he’s lost his focus or simply and more likely, teams are setting up to cut his supply
Both games this year he has been up front on his own trying to fight for long balls against 2 big centre backs. It's pretty unsurprising that he doesn't seem to be getting in the same goalscoring positions as before.

Dipo due to get us raving about his goals
He's scored in both meetings so far so fingers crossed we can start creating some chances again and he can use this week to get back among the goals

I'd like to see us go back to 2 up front for this, Cove seem to have been pretty shaky at the back recently so I'd like to see us target that rather than just try and go long to a double marked Dipo like we have in the last couple of games. Made it a lot easier for the Hamilton centre backs especially than it should have been.

Livingston recalling Mullin would be utterly bizarre regardless of how good he’s been.
Aye I can't get my head around their logic there especially as they have since signed Steven Bradley who bagged a double at the weekend in cup, surely that pushes Mullin even further down the pecking order?

From Ayrshire Post - some good some bad.
Musonda and Murdoch both out for the Cove double header but hope to be back for QP game
Houston and O'Connor should be back for Friday
Livi still keep hinting at recalling Mullin but nothing official.
'Closing in' on 2 replacements for Young and Chalmers, although also says might need to wait until end of window to get the right ones.

4 ex Ayr players in the Darvel squad earlier. Certainly brought back some memories seeing Moore and Meggatt. Not all good memories but some great ones too
I certainly don't ever remember Meggatt being as commanding in the air as he looked last night!

Wee Craig Moore. Shankland wouldnt have been half the player he was at Ayr, without the wee man alongside him
I'd still have Moore at Ayr without a doubt if he wasn't the most injury prone player in the history of the world

Aye, 3-0 or something. I saw them last season on the day they won the league and there was very little between them and Kilwinning.
They were absolutely rotten when Tranent beat them in the playoff too.

Find it a bit strange there has never been a new date announced for the Morton game.
Unless clubs were waiting to see if they got through to the next round of the cup and if not they were they were thinking of playing it that cup weekend.
Aye that was my thinking- Morton will go out to Celtic so they were maybe waiting to see if we lost as well.

Yep just thought that they're in the same boat
Still not ideal though especially as we seem to be losing a player per game at the moment haha

72 hours before Queens Park away ffs...
Aye, brutal. Although QP away at Inverness the same night so can't use it as an excuse

If it's off when are they planning to play this round of games, considering the next round is only a few weeks away
Replay is Tuesday 31st

All our new signings will have arrived by then
Aye. Been a pretty underwhelming month with 2 boozy away games I'd planned on going to being postponed (probably) and losing Chalmers.
Hopefully a strong finish though - 10 days to get a couple of new faces in and hopefully get a couple of wins at a less frozen Cove

I'd already bought match tickets- can anyone at Cove confirm that these can be refunded as I won't be able to make the rearranged one? First time il have bought in advance for a postponed game

Given our injury situation and current lack of available players, then I'd say it's a blessing that the game's likely to be off.
I'm not so sure - that leaves us with Cove A Cove A Queens Park A in a Friday - Tuesday - Friday run coming up. The way things are going I dread to think what sort of XI we will be able to put out by the time we get to the Queens game

What train are you on? A group of us getting 1045 to Haymarket from Queens Street then switching to Aberdeen train to get in at 1350
We're planning to get a taxi to ground
If game is postponed enroute we're just going to get off and try somewhere else, possibly Arbroath vs Motherwell
We are on the 9.40 from Queen St direct to Aberdeen - on the 19.45 one back. Tickets are train specific and non refundable so if it ends up being off will probably just do the day out anyway but with a pub in Aberdeen for soccer Saturday replacing the Ayr game part of it - ticket refund would pay for a few pints at least
Edit - same re Taxi to ground, then was thinking of a couple in Social Club post match (if it's open after games?) Before heading back in to town

Inverness v Queens Park in cup postponed - means QP have to go there for replay on Tuesday 31st before we play them on Friday 3rd. Would be good if we could manage to get our game played tomorrow to avoid having to have our replay on same night.
I realise I've almost certainly jinxed it now of course.

Jeezo, got the non refundable train tickets already booked. Assumed it would be fine based on forecast

He got hurt on Saturday , still training though , bruising on top off foot, kicked opponents studs when clearing a ball near end of game
that's right- I remember that now. That's not too bad then, would assume he would only miss the cup tie in that case.
What about Murdoch - is it a thigh muscle he has hurt? Think that maybe got mentioned post match v Hamilton

Did Kirk take a knock against Arbroath?
Also heard yesterday that Musonda had two different tears in his leg and that isn’t even close to being fit. Hope that’s a load of nonsense but if it isn’t then we really need cover for that.
Aye if that's true then a CB has to be a major priority especially if Kirk is going to be unreliable - we absolutely can't be going into second half of season with only McAllister and McGinty as options.

Bullen in press conference saying Murdoch and O'Connor both unlikely to make the Cove games and sounds like Musonda not actually training yet so Queens Park game seems ambitious for him, Ayrshire Post maybe slightly ambitious with their report on Wednesday.
