There is no kit clash with any team where an away kit wouldn't have covered it.
On that note, does anyone know why it was away strips all round tonight?

Absolutely dreadful tonight. At 11-10 it looked like we might get a 0-0 but as soon as it went 10-10 it was game over.
Shows what a massive loss Mullin is.
However - I'm still hopeful that we have enough to go to Morton and somehow scrap a 1-1 or something then hopefully see some new faces / Kirk returning.
Feels quite disappointing the now but 3rd going into new year is still decent enough - if we have a good January I still fancy us for 4th behind Dundee, Partick and QP (who I'd fancy us to beat in the first playoff just because we somehow seem to have the beating of them)

I reckon we will get beat tonight (Dundee win BTTS 9/2 for any gamblers) but calling it a miserable end to the year is an absolutely ridiculous take.
Also Bangala booking at 3/1 is a shout. Looks miles off the pace, gets stuck in and will surely get targeted playing out of position.
@diegomarahenry I take it back. That was utterly depressing right enough. Never even looked like scraping the 0-0 while Dundee were down to 10 and game was immediately over when Bangala went off.

Loves the Footy and The Rangers.
To be fair to him despite his English based love of the Rangers he also gives a hell of a lot of time to other lower and non league Scottish clubs.

Looked like Dempsey was training based on that clip the club put on social media earlier, hopefully means he is fit for tomorrow.

Can't see any other outcome except Ayr score a couple of goals but still lose. Should be entertaining if nothing else.

Canny wait for this, booked in to the hospitality for it. Really enjoyed the last meeting, especially with the "both to score in both halves" bet sailing home. Wouldn't be shocked to see the same again tbh with hopefully an away win this time.
And again. Sadly another home win.
Edit - Hospo staff in the Chairmans room or whatever it was were excellent, our pal whos 40th it was got out to the crossbar challenge and got introduced as an Ayr fan despite being as Aberdeen as they come.
Ian McCall came in for a chat at half 2, Room full of mostly Ayr and Killie fans, he doesnt have to do that. Claimed not one Ayr player would get in his Partick side except maybe Andy Murdoch as a sub. Was hoping the result would prove him wrong

I can only assume that he was very drunk or just popped a couple of hundred Mushies.
To be fair, it was 30 mins or so before kick off. Told us they were going to target the full backs and keep Brian Graham away from McGinty. I don't mind the guy, was quite happy to admit Ayr saved his career and especially loves Lachlan Cameron.

Was in hospitality today and had a chat with Ian McCall before the game. He was very confident that not a single Ayr player would get into his current Partick or his previous Ayr side. When Pushed said he would take Andy Murdoch as a sub. Sadly in the end there was no way to prove him wrong in the end

We don’t really have cover in any area of the pitch right now so that is a major worry…
We've got at least one backup option in every position outside the defence at the moment to be fair.

Our hospitality group has had a call saying the undersoil heating is already on and they fully expect game to be on as they don't want to lose out cash wise - they have got over 200 booked for Hospitality apparently so must be pretty confident it's worth the cost of the heating

Hamilton 13/10 to win this with Bet365 - is this and even some handicap ones worth it if ICT playing a reserve side? Will Accies go full strength do we reckon?
Edit - just saw above poster saying Accies going reserve too so maybe not worth it

Is Mullin injured? Was a strange one not even being on bench. Next couple of games I'd go Mullin Chalmers Akinyemi and McKenzie as the front 4 if fit.

Won the tie - forget the game and move on, everyone else will, it was chronic.
What an absolute shit draw though.
Kept thinking “no, not them. no, don’t want them either and ended up with that
I was too busy not wanting Inverness away that I didn't see the Cove sucker punch coming.
It's one of i think 12 current league grounds I've not seen us at though so really need to get my finger out and go to one of them though.

Glad we avoided 12-1
Glad we avoided a Talbot / Clyde / just about every other lower or non league club we have played in the last decade scenario .
Dare I say both teams probably happy enough with the outcome ? Ayr were rotten but won without ever looking like not winning - Pollok with a new manager that has probably only met the players a few times didn't get pumped.
Interesting to see that tonight was probably the only time I've seen a defence not absolutely terrified of / bullied by Dipo all season.

Bangala was fine .didn't do much wrong .
I thought similar - he didn't look great but wasn't awful. Dempsey was rotten first half too. Biggest disappointment for me was Brad Young, I'm beginning to think our best striker combination is Dipo and McKenzie.

A remember the first postponement, had one foot on the bus at the Steamboat, sickener.
I was at Queen Street train station with tickets already bought so we ended up going anyway for a day out, got a taxi out to a wee pub near the ground that we had planned on going to anyway and ended up having a kick about on the park with a couple of weans

I want to apologise to Pollok fans. Unfortunately, I have bet £5 on you to win at 18/1.
I was tempted to put money on Darvel on Saturday and chickened out. Given this one's on TV I thought I would stick a fiver on to at least make it more interesting. Chances are Ayr will be 4-0 up after 20 mins after my little flutter.
It's 35/1 on William Hill which caught my eye - can't have been an away side at Somerset ever that big a price surely

If somebody did put together a team of guys who just took up the sport for fun last week I still don't actually think Ayr would score eleven goals. Looking forward to a competitive match.
Ashford would set a club record for shots off target in that scenario

It would be interesting to see if our analytics team study individual defensive errors that directly lead to goals. Struggling to think of any captains of teams over the years that continually made bombscare errors. Whilst any captain doesn't need to be the best player they do need to be someone the team can rely on. Not sure it sends out a good message to the fringe players who see these howlers but are still not given a chance. I'm not advocating McGinty gtf but at least he should earn his place based on performance. As it stands Bullen will try and shoehorn him in whenever possible to justify a decision. Over the piece points will be dropped until these basic errors get sorted
Not sure that's entirely fair - McGinty only came back in when Musonda went to left back as Paddy was having a mare or two. And in the game v Partick when he made the sub it worked. Pretty sure if we had an on form left back and everyone fit McGinty would be on bench and Murdoch captain

You know what- I've just realised I'm gutted at drawing at Inverness to have our lead at the top of the table cut. If that isn't progress then I don't know what is.
Here's to taking half a dozen off some juniors next week (6-3 win) and regroup in a fortnight.

A really bizarre situation. I actually saw someone in the Hub post match wearing one, surely we are never going to actually wear it in a game.
Actually really annoys me when clubs like Ayr bring out a "3rd kit". It's an absolute piss take. As someone else has said, to somehow market it as a thing to celebrate a partnership that has brought absolutely zero is even worse.
