Exactly and we clearly are supplying the SPFL with highlights of the goals even if the tweet they posted on Monday of Dipo's goal was embarrassing quality.
Bigger issue for the club would be if nobody wanted to watch highlights. Given all the talk of increasing the fan base and with our start to the season it's seems a good highlights package would be the starting point for attracting new or lapsed fans to Somerset. I would prefer highlights in HD uploaded ASAP over having them add in score graphics etc.
It actually really annoys me - we must be about the only club in the country that would go top of the championship in a 6 goal thriller in front of a decent crowd and then have no highlights package.
That's the sort of one I personally would want to be sharing a YouTube video of over WhatsApp to a few pals who are very occasional attendees but have started taking notice a bit more this year, and say something like "here lads how good did that look, fancy the next home game then? Couple of pints in Camerons first" etc.

Brad Young was superb tonight, what a power of running the kid got through, he deserved a goal for his performance.
Some of the runs he makes off the ball are superb. Get the feeling he might start adding goals to his game in the 2nd half of the season - it's easy to forget the likes of him and Alex Kirk have hardly ever played a game of football at senior level before so are both learning every week.

I too was sure the first goal was an O.G. But no one else seems to have mentioned this, perhaps it’s just the 2 of us in this parallel universe?
I was on North Terrace about 10 yards into the Partick half and also thought it was a clear OG. Voice of Reason tweeted that defender had kicked it off Chalmers though so who knows. I'm sure our excellent highlights package will clear it up

Looking at the two teams we could definitely get overpowered in the middle of the park, with Partick’s half side of defenders stifling Dipo.
On the other hand our front 4 is excellent if they click. Ayr 4 - 3 Brian Graham

Got a feeling this will be a cracking game and no idea how it will go.
Ridiculous that Ayr are currently 1 win in 6 (1 in 5 in league as the Challenge Cup one probably shouldn't count) and yet seem fancied to go top of the league tonight.
Before team news etc comes out I'm predicting a 2-2 draw and a lot of seethe toward Wullie Collum.
Hopefully Brian Graham doesn't get his 1000th career goal v Ayr. That would be a good start.

I hate it when opposition fans make posts like this. I’ve seen this movie too many times. That said, intae these weegie west end luvvies.
Was my first thought too - pretty sure we heard the exact same from Raith and Dundee fans recently and lost both games after going a couple of down

No team news section in the preview - that doesn't help my paranoia about Dipo's fitness from Saturday

Home to the winner of Pollok or Annan in the Scottish Cup. Happy enough with that - while it's not the cracking away game to a non league side a lot of us will hope for, it's a winnable home tie against someone different. Just glad to avoid the likes of Dundee Partick Inverness away etc.

Is Dipo fit? Saw a few folk say he was subbed on Saturday as he looked like he was struggling with a knock but haven't seen any of the post match interviews to see if it was mentioned? Needless to say, him being in the starting XI or not will have a serious impact on my confidence levels for this!

From what I’ve seen Daire O’Connor isn’t great
Didn't say he was. He has the ability to at least make a yard and stick a decent cross in so would have been better than what we did bring on.

Dipo was clearly struggling with a knock and limped off and as for "taking a hiding from Thistle", you do know that they were just scudded 4-0 at home by the same side we slaughtered 5-0 just a couple of weeks back ??
I think some of you just try too hard to talk the team and the Manager down........
Did you feel we would go on and win the game when the changes were made? Genuine question. I didn't. I felt absolutely deflated and that the Cove defenders would stroll the last 15 mins as we had nothing. As it went
Edit - if Dipo was injured then fair enough- McKenzie is the obvious replacement for him. Young then absolutely HAS to stay on

Also- a triple sub of attackers and Daire o Connor wasn't one that came on. Basically the only one that can actually beat a man and stick a cross in out of the 3. Mind boggling.

A win on Tuesday gives you 3 points and a win today wouldve also gave us 3 points. If they can’t play 2 90 minutes in 4 days there’s a problem.
Exactly. 2-2 v a far weaker side with 10 mins left, at home, shooting into the SRE and we settle for a point. That's horrific. Cove defence won't have an easier last 10 mins all season.

Subs obviously made with Tuesday in mind. Given Thistle took a pasting it’s not the worst point in the world.Only 6 points ahead of 8th at the moment and failed to beat any of the bottom 3 at home. I was confident before today but fear Tuesday could be brutal.

Why are we playing for a draw at home against the 8th placed team?
Exactly. That triple sub was an absolute embarrassment unless there are injuries we don't know about in which case il hold my hands up and admit I'm having a heads gone for no reason.

I don't quite get the negativity for tomorrow. Pretty confident of a win and a comfortable one at that.
However, a draw or a defeat would be 'very Ayr' in that we would have had a generally decent start to the season but would have failed to beat any of the bottom 3 at home so there's always that for the pessimists...

Made that a lot harder on ourselves than it should have been. But a big 3 points in the end.
The travelling Ayr fans must be used to some real shite if they thought that performance worth applauding at the end. Other than the goal we gifted them and the shot over the bar near the end, Ayr were dreadful. Even in the spell of pressure after scoring , everything just fizzled out.
Have you seen us the last couple of seasons? Conceding an opening goal in the first half and still somehow being in with a shout of a point as FT approaches is completely new.

Saw the Ship Inn aren't doing a bus to Dundee - any chance the club might somehow get one on? Would be a shame to go up there on the back of this result with a small crowd

Top outright with a mere 7-0 win. Not completely out of the question against an amateur side.
It would involve us having around 450 chances, and even if we did score 7 of them, not conceding a very simple one in return.

Murray and Akinyemi both to score is 7/1. Considering the gifts that both defences seem to enjoy offering up and having both scored in the previous fixture that seems decent odds.

Would agree with @callum-ayr team. I don’t think McGinty is nearly as bad as some fans make him out to be however i feel a lot more comfortable with Kirk and Musonda. Hopefully Kirk is fully fit.
Ashford and McKenzie’s work rate are both excellent but neither are clinical enough. I’ve liked the look of Young so far. Thought Chalmers was decent when he came on vs ICT on Saturday and with a full weeks training he can surely only have improved.
A win would be massive for us here and would go someway to proving our early league form wasn’t just a purple patch. I Had a bit of the fear about it however QP had a really poor result against a dreadful Morton team last night.
It's a strange Ayr team in that for the first time in a good few years there isn't anybody in it that I don't like, and yet I'm still not particularly confident going into any games . The 3 highlighted are probably the easiest to criticise and definitely the 3 I'd replace in the starting XI for Saturday, yet I like them all.
We really need to win this one. 5 weeks since Dipo scored or we won a game, obviously suffered from blank weeks outwith our control but definitely feels like we need to get back on track.

Pollok cup tie switched to the Monday night for TV. Pretty gutted at that as that could have got a pretty good crowd if it had been the Saturday with a lot of folk going for the "day out" sort of thing
