Neil McNab. Only sticks out as it's one of the first times I remember someone getting absolutely fucking slaughtered by the fans on the North Terrace when I was 7 or 8. All came flooding back to me recently when the name came up in an article I read online and turns out he had played hundreds of games at a decent level down south.

That's who I was told it is - source usually very reliable but wouldn't have fit the youngster on loan from down south criteria that we are expecting so was assuming (hoping) it might be wrong? -

Has he played against us for a couple of different championship teams recently? -

Based on that it would be an immediate no thanks from me. -

Was having a nosey through the U21 teams that had played and I see the Norwich keeper McCracken is Scottish - when looking closer I notice the guy between the sticks at the other end was none other than the bold Jack Ruddy making his debut for Plymouth and conceding 3 goals into the bargain.... -

This. It's a no-brainer for clubs our size to take the money and run in this situation. I haven't a clue what Alloa's ground is called; it's Recreation Park to me. Similarly if Palmerston was changed officially, it would always be Palmerston Park. Absolutely. Alloa and Recreation Park was the example I thought of too. Its maybe different when it's a new stadium that changes name every few years and nobody ends up having a clue what its supposed to be called but for the likes of Somerset, Rugby Park, Palmerston, Cappielow etc it's never going to stop being called that. -

As far as I'm concerned they can call it what they want if someone wants to give us some money for it. The overwhelming majority of home and away fans will still call it Somerset. -

Can we not just recall him from the loan if need be? -

There's every chance he might come back at some point, but the cynic in me would say it would be because it was the best offer available to him at the time rather than due to a sense of longing / unfinished business for a club that he had spent 18 months at a number of years previously like McCall seened to be wording it. -

Had a quick scan there (sad enough to have a spreadsheet of our games and scorers) and since Doohan signed we've played 81 and conceded 91. I know he missed Wrexham away game which was 1-1 so assuming that was the only one then the figures ur quoting must be spot on . We've scored 123 in that same period so it's nice to see it's a positive goal difference overall! -

Yup right enough - my mistake. Got the 5-0 Hibs and the 4-0 Rangers defeats mixed up. That Hibs one was a right pisser indeed - skoosh the group and go through as a seeded team and get rewarded with Hibs away. -

Off the top of my head he conceded 5 away to both QoS and Hibs which wipes out almost half of those clean sheets so it's probably around right. -

Looks like he was on the bench v Spurs in the EPL last season as well. -
Not the English one it isn't - if someone gets sent off in that they still lose points for goals conceded afterwards - Ryan Bertrand v Leicester in the 9-0 game for example. It's definitely a big flaw in this game that Shaughnessey gets sent off and still ends up the highest scoring defender for that match due to the fact they hadnt conceded when he went off. In the FPL one he would have finished with minus points.

He is out of contract at the end of this season but we would be due a fee if he left. Big season for him - needs to absolutely nail down a starting place and produce what he is clearly capable of more often. Edit - possibly I misunderstood the question - he wont be going anywhere this summer as we would be due a transfer fee as he signed a 2 year deal last May. -

There were a couple of games right at the start of the season where the scanners didnt work and were just being ticked off by hand so this could well have happened if folk knew about it and - this got sorted with an upgrade of some sorts though as RedEd says and now once a code is used once it cant be used again. -

I've still got a niggling worry that they will cancel the lower league season completely. Danny Denholm had a few tweets about it recently pointing out that any league with part time players can't go into 'bubbles' etc, which seem to be an absolute set in stone requirement of the Premier League going ahead (hence the backlash of the Aberdeen guys going to pub) Obviously I'm hopefully being ridiculously pessimistic but it would take quite a swing in 2 months for our season to start at all. -
My mum lives in Portpatrick (I'm sitting here right now typing this) but somehow it's only in the last couple of weeks I've realised just how far apart Stranraer and Dumfries are. I'm 36 and have been coming down here from Ayr half my life and somehow thought it was only an hour or so max along the road.l!

Not sure if it's related to what Robbo says but I'm told we already have a keeper sorted for next season - Dont have a name though so it's hardly breaking news but at least gives me confidence that we wont be scrabbling around last minute.
