  1. Went for a beer and now it's a different guy also enthusiastically talking about bricks. Quite enjoying it.
  2. I'm getting some guy talking about selling bricks - it says the stream is live though?
  3. Video working for me but a wee bit jumpy every 20 seconds or so but reasonably promising start compared to some of the others I've had!
  4. I wasnt there but think you are spot on that it should have been off and shouldn't have started. I just remember at the time it seemed DC was more vocal about pressuring the ref to call it off when all of a sudden it was half time and Ayr had a draw and the wind advantage. That Dumbarton game was brutal - Xmas eve I think. I think it was for the equaliser to make it 4 all we conceded a corner from quite far out and everyone behind the nets collectively groaned as it was so obvious Fleming was going to flap at an inswinger and concede
  5. Funnily enough for all the chat about weather I've been to Arbroath twice and we have won 3-0 each time in glorious sunshine. And tomorrow I'll be streaming the game with the floodlights of Cappielow visible out the window. What a time to be alive.
  6. Weirdest I can think of was back around 2005, was in Club de Mar in Ayr and went for a pish with my mate. He was at Uni in Edinburgh at the time and was working part time in the ticket office at Hibs but was back at his mums for the weekend. Went to the urinal and Scott Brown then of Hibs (could be wrong but think there was a few of them down for someones birthday, Johnny Bailey maybe?) was there having a slash and turned and saw my pal next to him, obviously recognised him from Hibs and said "what the f**k are you doing here wee man?" and seemed genuinely mind blown at the fact that the wee guy from the ticket office was in a place other than the ticket office.
  7. I still think that if McCall was in charge we would have probably had that game played to a finish and quite comfortably won it. Got the impression Dick Campbell used his 'persona' to convince the ref it had to be off.
  8. Exactly - if we were at home and the weather forecast was the exact same for Ayr tomorrow (entirely possible) then our fans wouldn't be saying it's a lottery and a draw would be a good result etc. Their park won't be any more bumpy than Somerset either. Part of building a team that will be successful in the Scottish Championship has to include signing players that can win games in bad weather. Although I do think the away game was the worst wind wise out of the two. But still.
  9. Agree by 100% more. I almost always switch off after about 10 seconds of the songs but the likes of that ICT film is the perfect example of what makes the show brilliant. Stuff that you absolutely don't see anywhere else about Scottish football.
  10. The weather seems to have become an easily trotted out ready made excuse for a bad result at Arbroath I think - we haven't lost there in quite a few visits and the weather has ranged from absolutely perfect to bad enough for a half time postponement. It looks like it will be windy but not to the extent that it makes the game a farce like the last time we went there, so I'd still be expecting us to go there and win (and I think we will). If Arbroath win it will be because they have played better than we have and not by some fluke of nature.
  11. Was just coming on to say that - that's 3 weeks in a row I think we have had a feature of some sort. After watching that I had a look at our stats - hadnt realised that we haven't conceded a first half goal in the league all season, and actually haven't conceded one from open play earlier than 83 mins.
  12. Same team as the Alloa game for me - don't see any reason / need to change it
  13. I'm still not entirely comfortable that we aren't one of them to be honest.
  14. I went for Alloa bottom Arbroath 9th. Alloa seem to play some decent stuff but from what their fans are saying they have nothing up front. Gone Arbroath ahead of them simply as we won comfortably at Alloa last week and I dont think we will do the same this week coming. Completely ignoring Alloa winning there yesterday. Horrific logic I know. Fancy whoever comes 9th in our league to lose the playoff to Partick though.
  15. I first started going to games around 1990/91when I was 6 or 7 - one of my main early memories from the first few years is being on the North Terracing and any time Duncan George got fouled folk would shout to him "it was number 6 Duncan" just to make sure he knew who he was putting up in the air in revenge. Wasn't even a big destroyer type either - just incredibly hard tackler.
  16. Oh good. We might get an hour of Zanatta making up the numbers now.
  17. I actually looked Frank Ross up recently - has been involved pretty much every week this season for Go Ahead Eagles in the 2nd tier in Holland. Maybe hasn't learned the Dutch for "it's still feeling a bit tight gaffer"
  18. To be fair I'm setting the bar very low - the only stream I've had that has worked perfectly from start to finish was the one from Morton where we shipped 3 goals in the last 7 minutes - and even that one would only play on my tablet - so anything at all really should be an improvement!
  19. Now, I love a good laugh at Raith as much as the next man, but that East Fife fan is tragic haha. As for the game - Smith will be a huge loss as he seems very instrumental in our attacking play - not seen anything of Walsh since he joined but hopefully he can come in and do a similar role. Other than that I'd assume we will be unchanged from Alloa game. Based on what I've seen highlights wise from Raith this will be a right tough game - despite 3 clean sheets in a row the defence still doesnt seem that convincing but I do fancy us to score. Mainly just looking forward to watching it with a few beers on a proper TV stream!
  20. I'd go same team that played Dundee other than maybe Muirhead in for Roscoe. There's a hell of an over reaction going on about getting gubbed and bullied by a bigger and better team in the cup last week.
  21. Based on the news that Smith and Walsh should be back for this I'm now feeling a bit more confident about this one. 5-0 Ayr.
