  1. That was the day I arrived, left very early Thursday morning and it was equally as impressive.
  2. I was staying in Glen Clova last week and witnessed that very scene, amazingly clear skies
  3. That was a very enjoyable game especially the 2nd half, i attended with my dutch father in law who has been following Arbroath for years since he was based at RM Condor in the late 70s, i've always had a soft spot for Arbroath, my first killie away game was at Gayfield when we were in the old 2nd division. You played some nice stuff today and i hope you keep it up, Bobby Linn isn't bad eh? All in all a really good match day experience, i even bought an away kit to wear at the 6 a sides when i return to Amsterdam. Good luck for the rest of the season guys!
  4. Just watched episode 1 of the new season, they still got it! loved the surprise at the end.
  5. Back in Scotland for my mum's 70th birthday, first pint of T was glorious! No pictures as i was too busy enjoying it.
  6. Some cracking goals this weekend, Smeets for Fortuna Sittard was nice mucho respect for him admitting he didnt mean it in his post match interview, Peterson vs Ajax was lovely
  7. I watched "the gang tries desperately to win an award" recently and the Go f*ck yourselves/spiders song is another Charlie classic.
  8. Fox Sports have been running an advert/trailer for the new season, when you hear Keuken Kampioen Divisie said out loud on TV the tinpot aspect really hits home, oh and I drank Jupiler last night after playing 6 a side and my head is pounding...serves me right.
  9. Going to see The Brian Jonestown Massacre this coming Monday at Paradiso Amsterdam
  10. Agreed, last time we took the ferry we stood there and met a lovely old guy from Staten Island, every Sunday he took the ferry to Manhattan and cycled up the Hudson round central park then back to Staten Island, had a great chat with him.
  11. Fear and Loathing can be read in a few hours, its one of my favourites, i'm a bit of a HST fan. Parts of American Psycho can be a tough read, probably the most gruesome book i've read
  12. I'm with Granny on this one, it's perfectly acceptable to dislike The Beatles but to not recognise the creativity and musical progression after Rubber Soul is crazy. As for unpopular opinions..Paul was the best Beatle and John was an utter w*nker
  13. The wee man is struggling in the heat, it's currently 32 degrees in the apartment
  14. I passed the stadium when i was there two years ago it looks like a great wee ground and they have a decent support, just missed a game 5 years back featuring their previous incarnation the San Antonio Scorpions who played in the NASL. They do a lot of hard work engaging with the fans, obviously The Spurs are the number one team in town but not everyone in the city is a basketball fan.
  15. Totally agree Kev Cast were just britpop filler, file them under menswear etc
  16. What a player TB was! A joy to watch and a damn decent guy as well.
  17. Nice one! I have a few friends in San Antonio and have been following them for a few years, heading over next year and plan on seeing them at Toyota field
  18. I think it's my favourite show right now, I love how they are explaining something from an archeological standpoint and then all of a sudden some ancient aliens expert appears on screen and says "but what if.........coz aliens"
  19. As mentioned earlier in this thread I'm a dog walker, on Friday i walked my little buddy Sammie for the last time as her owners are moving out of town, it hit me so hard when it came to drop her off for the last time, been walking her for 5 years and developed quite a bond, not afraid to admit that tears were shed, here she is with her mates on her last walk
  20. I saw Lee Mavers in Amsterdam a few years ago, I thought it was terrible a total rabble, most people there seemed to think it was good but i reckon they had their beer tinted nostalgia shades on, , halfway through he had a shot on the drums and battered out a drum solo, that was it for me
  21. Brian Jonestown Massacre - Something Else
