  1. Started badly, and got worse.
  2. That was the impression I got too, said for a while that it seems to be the putter is the weakest part of his game. One hole in particular he gouged a wedge out of the rough to about 6 feet, and the putt didn't really scare the hole.
  3. Was just reading that Gareth Bale hit 71 round Carnoustie on Thursday, beating his own pro Romain Langasque by 3 shots.
  4. He comes along with a 7th round pick in next year's draft in exchange for a 6th rounder. He won't be involved on Sunday.

Going by their efforts there, I think the Commanders are thinking the Bears have won it too.

Had the same thought, just sat down for my dinner break to find da Bears on the verge of a blowout win.
  12. NZ chase down the 283 required with just the 82 balls to spare, 273 partnership for Javindra and Conway.
  13. I know they still have plenty of games to recover, but it's certainly not the best start for England's nett run rate which might end up being important.
  14. It got kind of lost as Eurooe tied it up soon after, but it took fucking massive balls to take a penalty drop on the 18th and trust himself to get up and down from what was still going to be a ropey lie.
  15. Fair play to Newcastle, they've resisted the temptation to have a scattergun approach to signings like Chelsea have done. They've strengthened parts of the team that needed it while sticking with guys like Schar, Lascelles and Longstaff that have been there for years. The flip side is that PSG have rarely looked to be anything special at this level for all that they have spent.
  16. There's always a few gems in Annie's weekly round up, think my favourites this week are "the Steelers team plane has more touchdowns than their actual team", and ripping Josh McDaniels
