They always like to throw stats up during rounds. Showed one earlier that Jordan Smith leads the GIR stats this year by a mile on 73.78%, Ewen Ferguson was second on 71.8%, that's a big difference. The old saying of putt for dough springs to mind though, as he is ranked 142nd with 1.76 putts per green in regulation. Aaron Cockerill leads that particular stat with 1.51 putts per GIR, that's potentially 4.5 shots per round. You can guess what Smith should be working on this winter.

Rasmus Hojgard 9 shots better through the first 3 holes than he was yesterday. Started 4, 8, 6 yesterday, went 4, 2, 3 today thanks to a monster chip in for eagle on the 3rd.

Normally got no sympathy for anyone dismissed by a Mankad. They are trying to gain an advantage by getting a yard of a start so tough shit if the bowler has spotted that and whips the bails off. Spirit of the game doesn't seem to matter with things like the batsman walking when they know fine well they are out. Bit different today though, the batsman was still in her ground when the bowler reached the crease, but the bowler then hung on to the ball and once the batsman moved then she whipped the bails off.
