Fair play to Hull especially, horsing Korda in the top match was a great result. Still think USA will get over the 14.5 mark, but it's going to be closer than many expected.
Bobby Clampett at the 82 Open at Troon. 5 shots clear after 2 rounds, leading by 7 after 5 holes of round 3. Put it in a bunker on 6, took 3 to get out, then fell apart. Finished 78-77 on the weekend to end up 10th.
I've had a horrendous season this year every time I've had a scorecard in my hand. Always played some decent stuff but a few holes have always fecked it. Started the season on 13.9 and hadn't broke 90 until today, carding an 89. Had 2 sixes and 1 seven with everything else a 5 or less. Annoyingly missed a couple of makeable putts but that was balanced out with a couple holed from long range. Handicap index had crept up to 18, should be 0.5 or so coming off tomorrow.
Tough going at Royal County Down today with only 8 players out of 68 managing to break par. McIlroy leads on -6 by a shot over Manassero, Bob in T3 on -3 with Calum Hill a shot further back.
Workmate was there a few years back for the Dolphins season opener against the Ravens, said the stadium was superb.
Unlike the Dolphins who lost by nearly 50 points iirc.
