    She's keeping the series alive single handedly at the moment, England really need the win to have any chance, a draw would at least give them a chance going into the ODIs. It would be a slim chance tbf given Australia's record in that format.

    England's women following the example set by the men and having a car crash of a test match in Canberra. They had Australia at 4-2 yesterday, but a couple of dropped catches let the hosts off the hook and they declared on 337-9. England slipped to 150-7 in reply. Heather Knight doing her bit as skipper and is currently on 92, with 15 the best anyone else could score. 8th wicket has just fallen though so she might run out of partners before she gets her ton.

    Despite Boris, Gove and others urging government departments to get back into the office, they are being roundly ignored. My sis in law works for HMRC and she has only been in the office about a dozen times since March 2020, and there is no sign of that changing anytime soon. She also used to travel for interdepartmental meetings, they've all now changed to Teams. She would be delighted with hybrid working, she is fed up working alone at home.

    I use a carry bag through the winter, still got 10 clubs in it though. Don't have as much stuff to carry as chances are I'll be wearing all the clothes I need rather than having waterproofs in the bag. Also more chance I'll play less than a full round in winter depending on conditions or if winter greens are on.

    England came up short, scoring 204-9 in reply. It was a superb 107 from 53 balls by Ravman Powell for the Windies. Decent effort by Banton, with Phil Salt scoring 57 from 24 on his T20 debut.

    Definitely, the margin makes it look a lot closer than it was. I know it's tough for the bowler when the batsman is swinging hard, but there a couple of honking deliveries from Mahmood in that over.

    England won the second T20, but only just. They scored 171-8 batting first, and had the Windies needing 30 from the last over. Akiel Hosein battered Saqib Mahmood for 28 to end up just 1 run short.
