  1. Bob McIntyre has landed a new clothing sponsorship deal which will see him kitted out in Nike gear on the course, joining the likes of Tiger and Tommy Fleetwood in their stable.
  2. 2 interceptions shift the whole momentum of the game, especially the second one which gives the Titans a very short field to tie it at 10-10.
  3. 10-0 to the 49ers at half-time, limited the Titans to just 63 yards on offense.
  4. New Orleans Saints expected to start Ian Book in Monday's match against the Dolphins with Trevor Siemian and Taysom Hill placed on Covid reserve list today.
  5. Because as soon as you make it a public vote it is fucked. Should be a vote among the players to see who makes the squads.
  6. When a percentage would make much more sense and be slightly more palatable. There will be some stadiums at 1% capacity, others at 25%. It makes even less sense for indoor venues where a 200 seat theatre can still run at full capacity.
  7. I've had a few near misses, even though it's generally about 9pm when I'm heading down there going to work. Had one cnut a few weeks ago who was a couple of cars in front of me in the inside lane who hit the panic button and veered into the right hand lane, causing a truck to jump on the brakes, then he cut back across the front of me to head for the Royston Road exit.
  8. First time in a while I've been genuinely seething. Our club president always arranges a wee day out at our local bowling club between Christmas and New Year for a few beers, it's set for Monday afternoon. A couple of folk have posted in our WhatsApp group that everybody should be taking an LFT before they attend and showing proof of a negative result, they can get right in the sea with that shite .
  9. As much as it gives me great pleasure to see the Seahawks lose, I actually burst out laughing at that one. It didn’t look great in real time, but when you see the slow mo replay it is laughable that none of the officials saw it.
  10. During the summer they put a bus lane on the dual carriageway section of Springburn Road heading towards the city centre. It's a timed lane, and is clearly sign posted at the start that it operates from 0700 to 0930 and 1600 and 1900. That doesn’t stop folk at other times of day slamming their brakes on and try and pull out into the other lane when there is absolutely no need for them to do so.
  11. The missed PI call was hilarious imo.
  12. Bumble the latest to put down his Sky mic for the last time.
  13. There are so many belters in the replies, but I think this was my favourite. Shout out also to the guy eating a sausage roll.
  14. They might count that as a vote for Douglas Ross.
  15. It would be nice if rather than labelling football and hospitality as potential super spreaders, if they could actually produce any data to show that they are already places were there is a high incidence of people transmitting Covid. I'm going to the panto on Christmas Eve, Kings Theatre in Glasgow which holds 1785 people, and is typically sold out for just about every performance at this time. It will not be under any new restrictions from Sunday. "Following the science"? f**k off.
  16. Missed the last 10 minutes, but the Bears D had did a great job. They must be raging at the juggling team on offense. Just looked at the final stats, the Bears had almost double the offensive yards that the Vikings had, but somehow managed to lose. Played well until they got to the redzone from what I saw, and once they got there it was like they were playing a different sport.
  17. The mother of a lass who works with my wife passed away recently, her brother lives in Australia, has been there for a while but isn't yet a full Australian citizen. Under the terms of his visa he would have been able to come home for the funeral, and was willing to do so, but he wouldn't have been allowed back into the country. He had no choice but to watch his mum's funeral on what is basically the feed from a security camera.
  18. The whole show is a farce. Josh Taylor should also have been in with a shout, the only British man ever to hold all 4 belts at his weight.
  19. It's a mindset thing too imo, although 100% agree that poor technique is the bigger problem. For about 2/3rds of their first innings Australia were barely scoring 2 an over, and quite happy to do so with the aim of cashing in as the ball gets softer and the bowlers get tired. Too many England batsmen struggle to get away from their ODI and T20 thinking, as soon as a run of dot balls happens they start to panic and look to play at balls they should be leaving.
