  1. 205-5 with Hardik Pandya out for 1.
  2. I would be surprised if Pete Cowen has altered his pricing structure any just because it is Rory. He takes 4% of a player's winnings, but only if they are in the top 10.
  3. Dhawan goes 2 short of his ton, India 197-4 and rocking a little.
  4. Decent spell this for England, really cut the run rate down.
  5. Craig Howie finishes on 3 under, Ewen Ferguson is 1 under even though he dropped 6 shots in his round. David Drysdale birdied his first 3 holes of the day.
  6. Sam Billings has just ended himself trying (and failing) to stop a boundary, looks like a bad shoulder injury.
  7. Puts one straight down Moeen's throat which he holds on to this time.
  8. 49ers have restructured Dee Ford's deal freeing up around $11 million in cap space for this year. That left them with $20 million or so to play with, but Jaquiski Tartt and DJ Jones signed new one year deals yesterday, and safety Tavon Wilson also signed from the Colts on a one year deal. Should still leave a decent wedge to manoeuvre with.
  9. It also factors in that the technology isn't 100% accurate, we've all seen balls that looked to be missing comfortably high or wide show as umpire's call on ball tracker. After dropping that catch Moeen got scudded all round the ground in his next over. This looks like a 320 par pitch tbh.
  10. Moeen drops Dhawan. He waw dropped by Roy earlier but that was a really tough chance, this one was a dolly.
  11. Kohli yesterday - umpire's call should be done away with, if ball tracker shows it is hitting the stumps it should be out. First review of the game - Dhawan survives an lbw appeal on umpire's call.
  12. Hill birdies the his last hole (the 9th) to finish on -4. Good to see Victor Dubuisson's name on the leaderboard again, he was as high as 17th on the OWGR back in 2015, he's way down in the 300s now.
  13. India 83-1 from 20, need to be getting a move on with the run rate.
  14. Sky not on air until 10am rather disappointingly. Johnston ended up -5, 2 behind the current leader. Hill -3 with 1 to play.
  15. England had bowled pretty well so far with no reward, but a short and wide ball from Stokes that should have been scudded to the boundary was edged by Rohit Sharma to Buttler. India 71-1 after 16 overs.
  16. Froome lost 8 minutes in the first stage of the tour of Catalunya.
  17. He was 60no at the close with the Windies 99 in front with 2 wickets in hand. Joffra Archer to miss the ODI series against India and the start of the IPL with his elbow injury flaring up again.
  18. I can see both sides. I get the point that if a family has to buy uniform then that is less money available to spend on other things, especially if they have more than one child. Worth remembering though that those families in poverty and receiving certain benefits qualify for a uniform grant of £110 per child, which afaik is available throughout Scotland. As for the cost of uniform, things like shirts, skirts and trousers are cheaper now than ever with the big supermarket chains all doing good deals like 3 shirts for a tenner. Biggest problem I have is when there is a monopoly on where you can buy certain things like blazers, e.g. my daughter's school you can only buy it from one shop. Imo you should be able to buy a badge and attach it to whatever blazer you like. On the whole I think uniforms are a good thing, the gap between the richest and poorest pupils is much more apparent when the richer ones are allowed to turn up in their designer gear. Our daughter's uniform at primary school where you had to buy the proper branded polo shirts and sweatshirts through the school cost us more over the years than the blouses, skirts etc for secondary school.
  19. The farce that we fully expected. Funny how more people than Scots are feeling aggrieved now that it could effect Wales.
  20. My paternal grandfather was born in 1908 and died in 1999 when I was 28. Knew him well enough to know that he was a cantankerous old b*****d, but I suppose it's hard not to get a bit pissed off at that age when all of your friends are long gone. Paid a decent rate for cutting his grass tbf.
  21. McIlroy apparently making his partnership with coach Pete Cowen official after working with him a couple of times. He certainly has to try something different as what he is doing just now isn't working.
  22. It's only group winners who go through (IIRC) so he needs 2 wins minimum, and probably 3. Na is hot and cold too.
  23. Reminder that the WGC Matchplay starts on Wednesday, Robert MacIntyre has been drawn in Group 1 with Dustin Johnson, Adam Long and Kevin Na. Group 8 is a cracker with Hatton, Westwood, Garcia and Wallace in an all European affair.
  24. Another signing for Glasgow.
