Huge difference between being an amateur in the US college system and coming through in Europe. They were effectively pro and would have been able to practice and play in a completely different manner to Bob, who had to turn pro earlier to try and make money and get his full tour card.

If he ends up level par today then it's not a bad round in isolation, but in the context of the tournament when the guys around you are 3 or 4 under then it's not much good.
