  1. Planning on playing together in Aberdeen in December. Battle of the Brits: Andy and Jamie Murray team up in Scotland v England - https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/tennis/56205121
  2. Kyle Rudolph a free agent after leaving the Vikings.
  3. One of the most shameful things has been the mandatory 20 limit no matter how big the venue is. Lots of crematoria could comfortably hold more than that even with social distancing measures in place.
  4. Gyms, lower league football, and large parts of the leisure industry have never been "super spreaders" either, that hasn't stopped them being forced to close for long spells.
  5. Silly question maybe, but given there has been no mention of any possible change to the election date, why is it considered safe for hundreds of thousands of people to visit polling stations in early May when lots of other public places will still be severely restricted?
  6. It was the only time they were bought in our house, but eventually stopped as the listings were full of "to be confirmed" slots.
  7. Couple of graphs showing the post Christmas upturn in cases in the UK and Portugal. Portugal had very few restrictions on Christmas Day, and Lord knows how high the UK spike would have gone if the original 5 day relaxation of rules had gone ahead.
  8. Huge difference between being an amateur in the US college system and coming through in Europe. I know Robert did a year at McNeese but it's nowhere near the same as doing the full 4 years like Hovland and Morikawa both did, and at universities with massively funded sports programmes. They were effectively pro and would have been able to practice and play in a completely different manner to Bob, who had to turn pro earlier to try and make money and get his full tour card.
  9. Some changes to the England coaching staff, Marcus Trescothick ends a 30 year association with Somerset to become batting coach.
  10. Bob's next two weeks are the Arnold Palmer at Bay Hill and now confirmed as being in the field for The Players at Sawgrass.
  11. Hastings was unfortunate to see red imo, but sadly common sense has been removed from the decision making process and there won't be many cases now where kicking somebody in the head, whether it is accidentally or not, doesn't end up in a red card. Some good performances from the younger players. Sadly Nakawara is a shadow of the player we know he can be, looks nowhere near as fit and mentally I think he is already halfway to Ulster. This was superb by Grant Stewart.
  12. Bob MacIntyre stays at 43rd spot on the OWGR. Morikawa is up to 4th, less than 2 years since turning pro and in just 42 tourneys.
  13. The 1.5x bonus for a Morikawa win is where it's at.
  14. If he ends up level par today then it's not a bad round in isolation, but in the context of the tournament when the guys around you are 3 or 4 under then it's not much good.
  15. Rory having a typically shite Sunday.
  16. Their own departments aren't even going to be back in the office full time. My sis in law is a civil servant and her new contract specifies that she will be working from home at least two days a week.
  17. Obviously he is biased, but a pretty fair comment from Nathan Lyon.
  18. It's like every other dead ball situation, if you take a free kick/corner etc, somebody else has to touch the ball before you are allowed to play it again.
  19. BBC News - The mystery of India’s ‘lake of skeletons’ https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-asia-india-56116533
