  1. A blast from the past from the Arches in Glssgow in 1999 thanks to Picture this Scotland on Twitter.. Looks like Luis Suarez on the right hand side next to the girl who was sunbathing at Chernobyl.
  2. Dechambeau is now wearing clown shoes. Death by fire ants would be too good for him.
  3. Yep, f**k him. Been an up and down day for MacIntyre so far, 3 birdies in a row at one point but cancelled out by 3 bogeys.
  4. He is a fucking cockwomble of rhe highest order.
  5. Nice touch by the rest of the field today to applaud Jiminez onto the final green as he set a record of 707 European Tour appearances. Sam Torrance was the previous record holder.
  6. England 59-3 at the end of 10 overs. Couple of really good balls for lbw decisions, but Vince caught behind the stumps wafting at one outside off stump.
  7. Some debut for Curtis Campher, coming in with the score at 28-5 and scoring 59 not out. Ireland all out for 172, a target you would expect England to chase down with few problems.
  8. David Drysdale will finally tee off in his 500th European Tour event on Thursday. He is a relative newcomer though compared to Miguel Angel Jiminez, who will start his 707th event, setting a new record.
  9. Robert MacIntyre goes out in the final group tomorrow in the WGC Fedex St Jude Invitational. He is out with Tyler Duncan and Haotong Li. He only got in because Tiger Woods opted out, good chance for Bob to get some ranking points ahead of next week's USPGA.
  10. Latest update from the SFA suggests we won't be playing competitive matches any earlier than mid October. https://www.scottishfa.co.uk/news/grassroots-football-update-29-july-covid-19/
  11. 3 Tests against Pakistan, can Jimmy get the 11 wickets he needs to get to 600?
  12. Bit of both tbh. If the season was to start on October 3rd then teams will probably want to be playing friendlies from 4 weeks before. Could all be pointless if we don't start in early October.
  13. Not that it has any bearing what happens in Scotland, but the National League in England will restart on October 3rd.
  14. There was a test event carried out at the Oval yesterday with 1000 spectators allowed in to see Surrey take on Middlesex. That went very well, so crowds of 2500 will be allowed in to the Oval and Edgbaston this weekend for the opening matches of the Bob Willis trophy. Crowd pilot schemes at The Oval & Edgbaston for Bob Willis Trophy - https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/cricket/53556161
  15. Tragic news that the 22 month old daughter of Camillo Villegas has passed away.
  16. The rain went off for a while, but not even long enough for an inspection to be held. Just a formality now I think for it to be called off for the day as it's still chucking it down.
  17. Should be some spare times in September and October, they've just announced that the Dunhill Links has been cancelled this year.
  18. Could be a washout today, still raining so it looks like the earliest there will be any play is mid to late afternoon, and even that is being optimistic imo.
  19. A closing 68 for Finau, but he ends up T3rd 3 shots behind winner Michael Thompson. It's his 29th top 10 finish since his last win in Puerto Rico in 2016, and continues his dismal Sunday record which sees him around 170th on Tour for his Sunday scoring average, but in the top 25 for scoring average in the first 3 rounds. And it gives me another excuse to post this...
  20. Finau now T5th 2 shots off the lead with 3 to play. Will take some finish to even get him in a playoff now, although the last is an eagle chance.
